My Trials Karma Story - what's yours!?
This may prove to be a long story but hang with it - it's a great story.
My buddy and I were looking for a third to run trials with. We are both 1.0 kd 1400 ELO players - so I'd say we are around average. Naturally - we went to LFG to find a third. Normally I post both of our kds in my post so there are no surprises (couldn't tell you how many times people join - look at your stats and then bounce) ... This time however, I forgot to post our kds and we got a 1.8kd to join us. Started talking - seemed like a good guy ... Before our first round he went silent, then said our kds weren't good enough, then left our party chat and fireteam. All is good - he can play with who he wants.
So - we pick up a different third who's also a 1.0. With that - I wasn't expecting a flawless run but was looking to just have some trials fun. We end up getting to 7-0 without using a mercy. Boom, lose our 8th match (mercy now gone)... We end up winning our next 8th to move to 8-0 with no more Mercy.
Sure enough - on the 9th and final game... We get matched up against the guy who left us and his try hard new teammates (all 1.5+ kds). WHAT ARE THE CHANCES!!? I noticed on trials report that they also lost a match so we were both 8-0 with no more mercy. Knowing their kds I naturally just assumed we were toast, but we were going to put up a fight.
They started off strong and were up 2-0 pretty quickly. But, due to strong communication and some in-game adjustments, we rebounded and tied it 2-2. Before I knew it it was 4-3 them ... We went on to win the next round - at this point it's now 4-4. Couldn't believe it.
We went on to win 5-4 for the flawless and eliminated him and his team. It was honestly the best and most epic finish I could have hoped for (didn't think we'd pull off the w against these guys) ...
Naturally before and after the match trash talk ensued with this guy with my final comment to him at the end being "sorry - I can't hear you ... I don't get good reception here at the lighthouse"

Well, it isn't me but whatever. So it was the final match on Burning Shrine. Both me and one of my teammates were out, so it was just my other teammate (We'll call him A). See, A was running from the last guy alive on the other team and ran into a wall on accident. Panicking and with his back to the enemy, he uses his Fist of Havoc and kills the last one standing.

1 Risponditrials first announced in a stream and me, Milly and wake watch. We told ourselfs we would practice and get to the lighthouse with ease. So that's what we did until trials dropped. We got off work and got straight on destiny every night! We would wreck people, get off, sleep go to work -repeat- until the night before trials, me and Milly get put into a group chat.... Its wake. He sends us a message.. "Yeah, guys.. I found a trials group to run with.. They can guarantee me a flawless.. These dudes are the real deal.. Me and Milly say whatever and ignore the message.. We call off work on trials day (used one of my vacation days) and we wait patiently until its released. We also found a 3rd and his name is Insane. We run trials without losing and get to the last game.. No boons used and its looking good for us. Wake told us that he lost one but he was confident he'd pull thru.. (Again me and milly didn't give two shits) So we finally started our last game and wait.. What's this? I look at the striker titan and I can't believe it... ITS WAKE!! I freak out and tell Milly.. He gets hella hyped and we get into the game.. We tell insane and he agrees to go full try hard mode.. And we destroyed them 5-0, we did perfect call outs, flanks and we all did everything a team should.. Communication was on point and we came out victorious.. Wake deleted us. But that didn't matter.. Me and Milly experienced the best moment we had in this game, and got to the lighthouse. We earned it. We stuck together like a real fireteam and came out on top. Revenge.. Sweet revenge ;)

I have a similiar one, I joined a friends party when I saw that he was playing elimination with some other guy, I got in and asked for an invite when their game was done, no answer... Only a kick by his friend from the party, I sent a message asking why he kicked me and still no answer. Then when trials was out I found a team in LFG and on our fifth game I realize we are facing my friend and the guy who kicked meI sent them a message saying good luck and have fun, first round I get sniped by him and see in the distance that he is tbagging, my two teammates easily cleaned it up and tbagged him for good measure, we won the game 5-2 and tbagged him every round for being a douche. After they sent messages saying we were lagging even though we all had green bars. We faced them again 2 games later and beat them again.

Kinda the same theme, but this guy went the entire game running up with a shottie but then tripmines us and running away. In the end, it was 4-4. One of my teammates and him left, my guy punches him, he sticks a tripmine at point blank. It explodes, killing him, but my teammate survived because flame shield. It was hilarious

Well I've never hit the karma stages ever since I found my team 1 of them is a 2.27 K/D and he has a 82% win percentage the other is a 1.42 and has a 60% win percentage I on the other hand have a 0.84 K/D and a 43% win percentage (mainly because in year 1 and year 2 before I found my team I wasn't so great at crucible before I really got into it and my win percentage is down because until I found my team I got stuck with friends who PvP was just not their thing) but my teammates don't care and we have gone flawless 13 times all of putting in our 2cents and I get a positive K/D each game now :)

1 RispondiLol mine is similar but not as good. On lfg see a guy with a 1.8 kd asking for 1.5+. I'm top 1%, 75x flawless with a 1.4 kd. I msg the guy and get no response. I find a dif group with not as high kd's. Our first game we get matched against this kid and I go off, 15-1 or something and 5-0 them. Almost messaged him after and said you made the wrong pick but decided the sting would be enough :)

1 RispondiCrimson doubles: me and one of my clan mates started out with a win or two against this other team because we had recently been on a hot win streak. Well a little less than half way through the match the other team finally gets a kill ......... And starts teabagging me from here to the moon and back and then my buddy goes down and he starts getting teabagged as well....... We just laughed it off, next round was heavy and we took them out pretty easily. Well final round rolls around and I take one guy out but his buddy gets me and revives his team mate, so the guy I killed is just sitting their teabagging me like his life depends on it. Then all of a sudden my buddy takes down the teabaggers friend, so I pop my raidiance and b!tch slap that teabaggin welp and we won the round[spoiler]and yes unfortunately we both sunk to their level and teabagged the hell outta that guy at the end ;-)[/spoiler]

So. It was back in year one. I had my ususal load out. The Last Word, Praydeth Revenge and The Smolder. Good times btw. We start a match but before he match one of the guys that we were facing sent me a message saying, " Hey scrub prepare to lose and get teabagged and when we win I will post in on youtube to humiliate you." I sent him this, " Okay Cool", He didn't know that my 2 best friends actually went flawless and knew all the tricks and tips on the Burning Shrine. We pop in the match, we get the outside spawn and I tell my friends to play stupid, and we play stupid, let them win 4 rounds. Every round they beat us they Teabagged. I had my super,so when it was heavy round. I snook up behind them and smashed them all. One of them self rezes, bad move on heavy round. My friends shoots a truth rocket and instantly kills him. So aftera few matches we catch up and were tied 4-4. Im the last one alive. And the enemy is the last one alive. I throw a flash grenade and blind him, 1 shotting him with Tlw. He self resurrects but my sniper had to say something about that. I hit him with 2 sniper bullets and kill him. Guess what I Run to his orb and teabag him, even better they got eliminated from trails. WHat made my day even better is that the guy I killed was the guy who sent me the message. After I send him a message saying, Did you see that Snipe Thoe?" He says, " Screw you -blam!-, go die." I say, Haha that's what my sniper said to you when it killed you, you still gonna upload your humiliation boy?" He says, "No" I say this, " Try getting good and actually hitting your thorn shots, then come talk trash about my team scrub." He dosent reply.

Was in a match last weekend where we got slammed 4-0. Then one of them teabagged us so I decided to bring it. I single handedly brought us back up 4-3, hauling a 10 kill streak and going phantom. I got cocky, teabagged them back and boom. They slayed us in that final round lol.

Trials is a matter of team work, KD is a good thing to base your partner choosing, but not a warranty to get to the lighthouse

People dont realize that trials revolves around reving and communication, they where all beast but i bet they all prolly weren't playin as a team.

So this past weekend I was doing trials. I forgot to buy my boons like an idiot but I was going for my 5th win. We matched up against this team and everyone on my team gets a party invite from the other team. One of my teammates decides to join and when he did, someone on the other team said "I'M GONNA DO IT" and bam he got kicked offline :/. So now its just me and my buddy vs their team. We managed to win the game 5-3 with us each getting about 13 kills I believe. Then we're just sitting in orbit waiting for my friend to get online again and he finally does. So now we queue up a game and guess what....ITS THEM AGAIN. Needless to say we beat them 5-0 :P

I've come across multiple teams of inadequately skilled players who 1) camp to avoid direct combat, 2) prescope corners exclusively, and 3) rely on revives for round wins. These teams always lose, but get a couple round wins. Regrettably, Destiny's 3v3 modes rely far more on teamwork than personal skill. That and sometimes the stars align for the lesser team.

My best story is when I realized Destiny's PvP was a mess during the Beta and did all I could to not touch it from then out. Good story right?

Congrats.! Mine is 0.66 and went all the way up to 8-0 last week... lol then lost but who cares I had fun :) A lot of people forgot a lot of Y1 players like me who like doing PvP in Y1 but had crap weapons would have crap KD. I didn't even know what KD was back then and no one cares. I played with only my For the people auto and got wrecked by Vex, Suros and Atheon Epilogue and getting it or not was based on RNG and RAID! Best PvP weapons were the RAID weapons??? Yup, bungie's logic I guess. Again, great story and congrat again. Hope I can get to the lighthouse this week.

Got a trials story too, we were pretty far in and got a good team. They beat us and all started dropping teabags on the orbs after the game. Next game we got them again but ended up beating them, felt pretty good to get one back and then we went in to our last game and somehow matched against them again! I can't remember the score but we were winning rounds by quite a bit and I got a message saying "please my friend needs this for flawless" I just messaged back after we won saying sorry but it was some pretty strong karma for tebagging after a close first game.

[spoiler]Not Karma, but hilarious. [/spoiler] This past weekend I was doing trials with a some friends. Just doing some bounties. We were on the side where your outside on rusted lands. We ran to the right where B is on control. I waited for a sign that someone was at the explosives on the right. I saw some red and shot the explosives killing the entire other team making 2 of the rage quit.
