What are good PvE handcannons???
Is there such a thing? Because I was doing that hard raid the other night, and a guy on my fireteam pretty much got yelled at for using a hand cannon instead of a scout or pulse rifle. These things should be looked at by bungie if they don't have a certain damge archetype meant for hardcore PvE activities. If I'm wrong please tell me but I believe all weapon types should be able to be viable choices on all platforms of combat. Anyone else?

Imago Loop is pretty dope sauce imo. One of the best hand cannons I've used in a while. The one I use has surrounded, Will of light and Firefly. It's addicting to use.

I like [b]First Curse[/b] the most. Shame you have to wear an armour piece with hand cannon ammo cause you only get limited rounds these days

Any of the exotics are reliable and personally the Hakke handcannons are best.

2 RisposteThere are plenty of great PVE cannons; the challenge in PVE is not "the right cannon," but simply that in a crowd, there will almost always be better options. Look at it this way: assuming that you're running a cannon for the impact, great PVE cannon needs range and Reload buffs first, aim assist and mag capacity second. Any way you slice it, cannons only really have the potential to shine in PVP where opponents are less numerous and more tactical. If I run cannon in PvP its only because I want to. A cannon with exploding rounds, firefly or Crowd Control can make a case for itself in PvE most definitely, and to entertaining effect; but anything it can do, a scout rifle can do more efficiently. I've just started to get into a groove with the First Curse. It's a rewarding gun to master, but to really be competitive it needs a reload speed fast enough to make it a viable choice over a scout for PvE. Signed - a true HC lover who ran Devil you Know almost exclusively through the first months of vanilla D.

For hunters ace of spades is nice. It's like an exotic updated fatebringer without the burn. But hand cannons like the uffern hr4 are pretty good, you'd need something that'll increase the base range, same goes with the kumakatok. The byronic hero is great too because of its bigger magazine size, however hand cannons aren't in a great place because of their low ammunition. You're better off using something like a scout if you're look for precision.

Finalas peril is actually really good, I don't like the ace of spades. I can't say about imago loop because I don't have one (tears streaming down my face)

There are none, in PVE you need guns with range which is why scouts and pulse rifles reign supreme.
