Destiny has redeemed itself.
Its set- I'm back for good. Originally, I was only checking out Crimson Doubles. But now, we have a full expansion later this year and more PvE content coming in Spring? I'll be damned!

The division cannot come fast enough as nearly my entire friends list will be switching to that.

Get ready to shell out the $$$. Microtrans were only for the events, so unless this "new expansion" or as we all came to know them, 3 missions of previous ones except in reverse, is another event, then get ready to spend another 20. Also, don't say Destiny has redeemed itself. Nobody even knows what's about to come(or when) so how can it even be "redeemed"? Posts like these are the reason why Bungie thinks they can get away with anything. For all the negative posts or constructive criticism/feedback, they will ignore all of it because posts such as this one will fill their ego and make them think "yeah we are perfect, they LOVE us!!! Quick come up with more microtransactions."

7 RisposteNo, it has not. Yet. Do you still believe in Bungie's word? I don't. I really like the game and all that, but... Two expansions, a minor (free?) and a large one (paid, for sure), more grinding and the same RNG (people will complain about being a forever 329, what a difference). Activision (and bungie, per consequence) and their policy of never give a permaban to cheaters or people that uses exploits in the game, so everyone would continue to spend their money (which is not true. I don't invest my precious money in a game that I don't have equal conditions to win) I simply don't know. Bungie lost their way of making great games. Let's expect they prove me wrong and fix their glitches, matchmaking, balance, story content, animal code errors, servers... Only then I'll buy Destiny 2. (Reading what I wrote...probably not)

The problems aren't the content or the lack of it, the problem are the underlying systems namely: - terrible netcode which means players can get removed from activities for no good reason - terrible netcode which results in invincible red bar players in PVP - terrible loot system which results in people not being max level 6 months later - bad decisions such as letting PoE go stale during HoW - bad decisions such as retiring year 1 content from relevance - bad decisions such as hoping TTK was enough content to last 6 months, it is not Fix these issues and redemption may be a step closer to reality.

I am still skeptical. The TTK WA supposed to be an expansion as well but it closed off so much of the game. I want The new expansion to be worthwhile but until I see reviews, I look at he possibility that they lock out all year 2 content just as hey did year 1. I really hope I am wrong but....
