I see these posts about rng sucking and old gear not being new but does anyone not care? I mean, yea, it sucks but is it all that important? I just play this game to chill and have fun. It would be great to have better stuff and rewards but I don't believe that they are needed to have fun. Any thoughts?

I like to have fun and relax. Played Crimson Doubles with my buddy, and it was fun yelling at each other and screaming proudly when we would go hard. Although sometimes the game can be infuriating, it's mostly fun all around.

Fun is the only reason I play.

Modificato da Xanzuss: 2/13/2016 8:09:38 PMI try to have fun with this game but it's hard to have fun when you get shot through walls and one hit killed by melee in the process. Or mysteriously dying by some unknown archetype in PvE. This stuff happens a lot. It's all kinds of shit wrong with this game, RNG included. Just wish I can enjoy the game without the BS ruining the experience.
-
Yup. That's why I stopped playing Destiny.
-
I play for fun. But some of the best guns are year one. Which is fine in normal crucible. So it is good for that. But if you wanted to use it in trials or PvE, it won't work so good
-
Rewards are the hook. I don't understand how playing the same 10 minute activity on repeat for hours can be fun to anyone. Fun comes from challenges or friends or achievement, at least for me. Destiny is quickly running out of all of those things.
-
Agreed. It's my relax and unwind game. I hang out with friends and clan mates and waste a few hours doing raids and quests. Its less about the game as it is the vehicle to enjoy good company.

Fun is what this game is all about. been doing it since I started. I just started a third character (for the 3rd time), since I had already used my spark I just went and played just like in year 1 using what ever they gave (RNG), when I got to level 20 I still used year 1 gear. never started the ttk part of it just stuck with plain ole destiny, I am having the best time with this, have not made it pass level 25 yet(rng), but man is it fun. reminds me of why I started playing destiny, just for the fun of it.

Ya I play crucible and run strikes for fun. I love the gunplay of this game as well as messing around with goofy weapons and perks in the strike playlist. I have 2 320 characters so basically everything I do now revolves around having fun with friends. Ya know like how a game should be played.

Not to be that guy.... But since the division beta came out and ended ive played Destiny like twice. I go weeks without playing nowadays because of work but I still hop on and have my fun here and there. Went flawless last night for my 6th Adept Water Star:|. Its crap like that that makes me just laugh shake my head and dashboard

I'm too old to have fun.
-
It's not supposed to be fun.
-
I used to play for fun when it was fun
-
1 RispondiEveryday. And will continue to do so

Modificato da brr-icy: 2/13/2016 4:44:46 PMI miss using icebreaker and ghorn, but it's still fun especially with a couple sarcastic friends in trials or a good raid group
-
I do but not as much as before
-
Only pvp. But even that I can only play for an hour at a time before needing a break
-
I left this game for about 2 months because it wasn't fun anymore. Just within the last week or so I started playing again, this time not worrying about gear or weapons. It can actually be enjoyable.
-
Whenever I'm stressed, I get on Destiny patrol and just walk/cruise around. Kill a few minions of the darkness here and there. Or watch the City from the Tower.
-
-
Me. Saddly the majority of people that complain about petty shit like a free ghost are thoughs who play just for the grind.
-
I'm pretty average in pvp but trials has been the only thing fun for me last couple months
-
-
I do. But I'm in the minority
-
Raises hand. I just wish I had an easier way to infuse stuff 300+ as I don't raid often.

Getting loot is fun. Trying out new weapons, gear and builds is fun (for me). Crappy rng turns fun into work, not fun.
