Seriously, I'm having a great time. Whether I win or lose, it's ~5 minute games of high intensity firefights. I haven't run into this many cool players since I was looking for friends to do VOG.
I was genuinely surprised to see so much hate. I would've thought you guys would be excited about new content. I haven't had this much fun on Destiny since the Prison of Elders was released.
What's the best gear you've gotten?
Anybody who says the Valentine shader is just a slightly different God of War hasn't seen it on a Warlock with the Voidfang Vestments. Absolutely beautiful.
I'm seeing a lot of people wishing that the event was PvE related instead. Besides upgrading the old raids, what are some PvE events that you can think of? I'm seeing a lot of complaints without any ideas of ways to improve it. It's easy to say "we want PvE content not PvP!" But what exactly do you want? Upgraded raids are still rehashed content. I want to see some new ideas.

Is very fun and I've only played with randoms, no Mics! Might have got lucky with the lfg but we clicked. The special ammo now is awesome. Adds more strategy and much more fun fights. Had a game where after they got special they camped with snipers. Doesn't work in 2v2. Haven't run into a single icebreaker so don't know what all that fuss is about. Wouldn't care either. Only got the shaders, haven't seen a single ghost drop.

7 RisposteI've only played for a few hours, but I thought it was fun as well. Only 1 suicide team, saw no icebreakers or invectives mostly just solid firefights. Did see some sidearms, but I'm a side arm fan so no biggie.

No addition to your request as far as content, bit I agree w doubles being fantastic. It's fun and fast, the buff works but isn't unbalanced, and it has those pretty shaders. My only add on is that I really appreciate Bungie admitting that the ghost drops are messed up and giving out a 320 to those that played the playlist

Preach. *clapclapclap* I really think a visit to the few of the moons on the gas giants would be rad. Or like, a questline that involves getting stranded through a rip in the universe, where all comms are dropped and you're like, soul--blam!- by the sisters of Oryx.

PoE is by far the worst addition to this game before silver. That being said, if your blind to what is really going on, I will tell you. Bungie is making some easy money. Events like this (and the Halloween event, and srl) are solely an excuse for them to add new emotes for sale. They hastily put this event together, it is very obvious. I refuse to play this event or buy emotes, because it distracts them from making content we want to play and pay for. People are blindly supporting these events, but don't seem to understand that when they do we will only get more of the same.

2 RispostePve content: - faction wars - new public events in patrol - unique ultra bosses in patrol - something to actually be able to use ships - year 2 loot in poe - update raids and add unique loot( ex: an artifact related to kabr or the relic) - expand patrol areas(add black garden to mars patrol, etc) - add new year 2 exotic sidearm - add new storyline in relation to the warminds - add mercury and phobos and saturn to patrol area list - faction bounties (pve and pvp bounties) - expand tower area and make reef more relevant. Please add to the list. Note: this is content that should be added in general

I only use year two weapons as a challenge unless both opponents have thorn, then it is a thorn fest. No 1KYS, Eirene only except a few games I didn't have it on my character and my phone was dead so I couldn't use the app Tons of fun most of the time. Been with only one partner and he had never played elimination before so I am kinda bossy. We sucked hard on our Hunter but did really well on our other characters. Got both shaders and emblem first day, and a 319 Crimson ghost and 316 Sugar Ghost right before I read we are getting a free 320 one. Also got a Red spectre and baby hawkmoon today, but both had crap rolls unfortunately.

Broke out my old Scholar, Thorn, invective, ice breaker, and most OP rolled Radagast ever after being out for roughly four months. If you want to see one of the greatest crucible launchers in existance, peep my hunter

My favorite gear is the chocolate ghost, I've picked up like 10 exotics via three of coins, got a red hand cannon that looks like a cross between hawkmoon & FB that's not half bad. I've had an absolute blast playing it. Me and my teammate hadn't even been on destiny in a while but decided to check it out, glad we did ;)

I am a big fan of crimson doubles! It is very easy to carry a friend too. Lol not like it's something even worth carrying through though. The broken heart buff is awesome and I think something similar should be incorporated into the game more often. However, when it comes down to it, taking the rewards out of the equation, it's just doubles with a new perk.

Too many people pull out thorns and the cheapest tactics they can think of when they're losing. I'm staying away from this event.

3 RisposteGood that you are having fun. Unfortunately, I'm solo for valentines and can't participate. I suppose it's good the core PvP crowd got more DLC as not many folks would be left to play otherwise. I'll just read up on CD on the forums.

2 RisposteMy only complaint to the Crimson doubles is the use of year one weapons....the ice breaker to be exact and also the universal remote. People using this sniper to get around the no special ammo at start is very annoying. Something needs to be done about this for future events.

PoE to highest level thatd be nice, updating more strikes into the heroic mode, another nice touch would be to make either one or a couple ultra enemies appear when enemies move against each other, possibly during that period increase the probability some that a exotic may drop. Also making the occurences happen a tad more often. This way more people will group in pve setting to kill bosses that appear.

3 RisposteI really like it. It's incredibly fun when you're the last guardian with the broken heart making a comeback. ^^ Not to mention winning 100 matches gives you a 15 point grimoire score. 50 more to go! :D

2 RisposteI havent wasted my time on it, with a ghost and a couple shaders, not worth the effort. Got better things to do, PvE content is what Im waiting on Bungie to get around to.
