Played about 40 games and got about 5 ghosts, all below 300 light. Meh. But I got both shaders and some legendary engrams. Spare Change dropped twice for a friend, I believe drop rates are higher than regular crucible.

Ridiculous... Why would under 300 ghost shells even be in the loot table for this "event"...

Depends on your light level. If you're using old gear and your light is low it's gonna drop low

Which is another problem with the light level system... You have to use your highest light gear all of the time or you'll get shit rewards...

Yea it's annoying. But I have the worst luck with ghost. 316 is my highest and I play everything. IB, trials, raid and now this and still nothing higher then 316
