Icebreaker cowards!
"shit what the heck are we going to do now with the 30 second delay on special ammo, we don't know how to contest on another player, we don't know what a gunfight is... Ahh icebreaker, we're saved."
This is bullshit, I really feel sad for those who can't man up to a change, and have to go to Y1 weapons to survive in Destiny PvP, and i'm not really suprised That Bungie didn't think of this as becoming an issue.
Edit 1: Allright, so pretty much everyone got offended by this because you probobly realized u don't know what to do without sniper and have to go back to use an old sniper that gives you ammo, just so you don't feel left behind.
I have nothing against IceB, it's an incredible gun. But you all know what I mean with this post.

Quit so many times because of this, I'm a good sniper and all but using a sniper the whole round is just annoying.

The issue is the stupid special ammo nerf. Bungie it's your game so do what you want, but we are the consumers we don't have to consume your product. There are a ton of good alternatives available. What gets said on these forums does not make a difference. Data is everything. So make your opinion known by affecting their numbers. If you are I satisfied with the current state of the game (boring PvE content, changes to the crucible special ammo, and match making that makes every crucible match a sweaty) then stop playing so user numbers decrease. I really enjoyed this game for a long time, but the recent changes to match making is pushing me over the edge. So if you want something other than what Bungie is giving you use your $$$ and time elsewhere.

I just can't do it man. Only pvp for so long and I suck at it. Icebreaker gally and thorn ripping my ass first few matches already

Boo hoo! It's not like you can't use it. With level advantages disabled, what did you think would happen?!? I didn't think to use it, but got killed with it a few times. it is the same with the invective. Btw it's only the start of the first round. After that you can get special. Why wouldn't you use one of the best guns in the game?!? If you don't like it, don't play it. Simple as that :)

As long as everyone is using Thorn and switching to Gally on heavy rounds I'm gonna go ahead and keep using my Icebreaker. Honestly I'd rather people use Icebreaker than Thorn. The whole point of using Icebreaker right now is to switch to any other special at 6 shots between rounds or while your dead and it gives you full ammo for that special weapon. Totally an exploit. Side arms give you one mag for another special weapon if you swap every round. Invective I'm pretty sure you can exploit for special ammo as well but I haven't tried yet.

Trash on icebreaker but don't bring up invective? Literally the same thing to me. Both ends of the spectrum piss me off honestly. It's cheap and I think stupid.

What about side arms and invective. Same thing. Ultimately they should not take away the special ammo unless it gets evenly distributed to all players through the match

I use it, and will continue to use it, just because I feel like actually doing well in a Destiny event. It is dumb though and I feel like a scrub.

Orrrrrrrrrrr you run sidearm (cuz it grants ammo) rush with TLW/mida take a win or loss, switch to sniper during waiting screen and there you have 10 rounds for your sniper.

Rather than switching IB out for another Special once I have ammo, i'd rather utilize an exotic primary and not have to change my load out.

1 RispondiAgreed! The special ammo change adds an entirely new tactical element to matches. For most it's fun, but there are people in this game that literally can't get a kill with a primary.
