Icebreaker cowards!
"shit what the heck are we going to do now with the 30 second delay on special ammo, we don't know how to contest on another player, we don't know what a gunfight is... Ahh icebreaker, we're saved."
This is bullshit, I really feel sad for those who can't man up to a change, and have to go to Y1 weapons to survive in Destiny PvP, and i'm not really suprised That Bungie didn't think of this as becoming an issue.
Edit 1: Allright, so pretty much everyone got offended by this because you probobly realized u don't know what to do without sniper and have to go back to use an old sniper that gives you ammo, just so you don't feel left behind.
I have nothing against IceB, it's an incredible gun. But you all know what I mean with this post.

3 RisposteI enjoy this no special change a lot. But i will use icebreaker for 1 simple reason. Its smart. What if i kill the other team before special is up even without special.....? Well now im at a huge advantage. Its just smart man

its a viable option and a smart choice to have a secondary to gain an advantage on the other team. when the crimson days is a playlist without level advantages it makes sense and is the smartest choice to start the game with a weapon that generates its own ammo....

3 RisposteIce breaker doesn't bother me but for some reason thorn just pisses me off. Ran into 2 warlocks with firebolts and thorn yesterday. I was ready to snap by the end of the match lol. Ps invective does the same thing as ice breaker and its year 2.

Beat a team last night that was a pretty good match. 2 matches later we met again with both of them using icebreaker on first round then switching to 1000 yard stare and thorn every round after. They beat us that time 5-4 and had the nerve to talk shit. Smh!

I only use it when the other team is, il also only use the thorn when the other team is using it. It's funny how quick the tides turn when you pull out your thorn after you die from one.

Teams of sweaties that can kill you with a throwing knife while basically flying. Don't matter wtf you are using. Tried ice breaker, could have had full heavy every round. Wouldn't matter a shit lol

I have it on but until I get in a two on one or I see one my self I wait tell they have special before I even fire it. It's great way to scare the shit out of someone going for the res though the see a shot fly by they normal run like hell.

6 RisposteIcebreaker just ruined our evening in doubles. Our last 6 matches it was used and gains a game changing advantage. I didn't see it used yesterday and we had some great skilled matches. If ice breaker becomes the go to gun in 3v3 I'll be staying away. Apart from trials as there's light level advantages.

It's not level dependent. You can use any gun. You are probably one of those people who are mad that destiny left guns behind in year two, until you get killed by one.

I've seen a lot in crimson doubles and all you have to do is look at there profiles before hand and play accordingly. But if I had the ice breaker I'd use it to because why wouldn't you give yourself an advantage?

7 RisposteAgreed. It should in no way be a 1 shot headshot kill either. Invective is OK since it has a year 2 version. I pretty much find that they have no primary gun skills. Close the gap to kill. But then they grab special and change to...shotty and have full special. I think Bungie needs to lock in players with the gear they choose on the competitive playlists or at least get rid of special ammo transfer between special gun types.
