I agree I enjoyed this game because both aspects of pve and pvp but the game has become very pvp focused now. I love playing trials and iron banner and all but sometimes you just need a break from the competition and kill some AIs. I wish for special events (like upcoming Crimson Day) they add a pve event like a special boss in a strike.

25 RisposteNever play pvp and never will. Have pretty much everything in game but refuse get exotic swords or anything else that requires pvp play. I did year 1 bad juju and thorn and was worst experience ever. Not everyone enjoys pvp. I have fun with pve but they need to do something for us bad and soon

nope, the PvE gets boring after a while. I've done the raids so many times it's stupid and I have yet to get anything above 315 on any of my characters. In HoW I would do PvP whenever I wasn't raiding because it was the only fresh experience in the game for me since each mach would play out differently. PvP can be quite fun if you're willing to put in the effort to get better at itl

Didn't happen. Honestly I am taking a break from Destiny now. For my PvE scratch I am going to go to the new Zombies map. Its so much better than Shadows of Evil.

Okay, so the updates were like 90 percent pvp side, resulting in their new match making code applied to other game types and will also be applied to ToO. On top of that, they limited special ammo for the smaller crucible games 3v3 or something like that, which took them long enough. Also, I think I'm having a blond moment because "[i]Paul: If your connection is bad, we'll be giving you even more reasons to improve it. Expect to lose fights a lot more often, even if you think you shot first or escaped behind cover in time. Things will get much better once you fix your connection, but at least you'll receive fewer angry messages in the meantime."[/i] [b][/b] Doesn't really make much sense to me. Okay yea you're connection is bad, so you'll do worse in the game until you complain to your service provider to get better? And for the PvE aspect of the game, a patch for the black spindle ship and a tweak to the ogres in Kings fall. -blam!-ing outstanding *Sarcasm*

1 RispondiPvp is the only thing keeping this game alive right now and they realize that. Pve content requires a lot more time and effort to create, and I'm sure they're busy right now using resources to work on the next game.

But it's starting to get frustrating The only pve content news is that they finally acknowledge a known bug with the ogres and fix it. A bug that kinda clashes with the ENTIRE challenge mode idea that they put in place...months ago. They've been on pvp so much that even the pvp centric players are asking for pve

12 RisposteTo all the people saying PvE is boring, has anyone thought that Bungie's focus on PvP content since the Taken King release may be the cause? If PvP was left to rot and PvE was the thing getting all the new features I'd bet these comments would be replacing "PvE is trash" with "PvP is trash".

I agree, and today's update is gonna be the one that forces me out the door. Significant changes and new content yet again for PvP. But we only got 2 lines about PvE, which were pertaining to (2) raid glitches that should have been fixed within the first month of TTK. People are saying that PvP is whats keeping the game alive. I disagree. (Yes, I acknowledge that for some it is true that they are only here for that) While there is a large chunk of people that mainly play just PvP, I think the majority of players purchased Destiny for PvE. I certainly bought it to play co op strikes/raids/missions with my friends. PvP is secondary to me. Im good at it. I do well in crucible. But for me, there's only so many times I can get killed by TLW/CT-D/Truth before it gets old. Yes, winning that 9th match to go flawless is a great feeling, but nothing will ever compare to doing VoG for the first time. I was in -blam!-ing awe when first trying and to this day I still say its the greatest thing I've done in any game. Until we get words on what is coming next PvE wise, I'm gonna go back to Witcher 3/BF4/GTA. Hopefully those words come soon.

You know in year one people cried about pvp not having enough and now your complaining about pve. This just seems like a time loop but for different things.

Trials and the raid are the only activities that I play now. It's better to play both rather than just stick to either pvp or pve.
