Would destiny be considered a First Person Shooter?
Would you say using a primary weapon takes the most gun skill? I think so. And this game has mechanics that allow someone with absolutely no gun skill to just run and gun all game with nothing but a shotgun or camp with a sniper.

4 RisposteIt's an fps AND an mmo. This is part of why people from the fps crowd have so many problems with this game. A lot of things in destiny that people call bs on are well established in the mmo genre. Just some food for thought.

1 RispondiIt is a FPS but by no means it's a MMO. The worlds are too small and not much to do for it to consider it an MMO. Besides, MMO's hold massive players in massive maps simultaneously and no MMO has the lazy light leveling.

Your describing CoD then. Each gun requires certain skills. Not everyone can snipe and not everyone can use fusion rifles. Your points are unfounded. We are in first person mode shooting. Now we have an FPS with RPG and MMO like elements.

Don't forget melee and supers. People like me who can't aim get lots of melee and super kills.

Well in order to be a fps a game needs to meet two very crucial criteria first person check shooting check it appears to me good sir that destiny is instead a fps.
