My opinion on the reforge exchange:
[spoiler]You can only reforge weapons on Armsday.
Your Gunsmith rank will determine how many times you can reforge a single weapon on Armsday - for instance, rank 5 you can reforge a single weapon 5 times.
The exchange rate should be a hefty amount so people can't abuse the reforge system like they could in House of Wolves - for example, 1,000 Glimmer, 5 Legendary Marks, 5 Motes, and 10 Weapon parts - or you must provide a duplicate of the weapon you want to reforge to infuse that weapon with, then you'd have to wait until next Armsday with the 3 options of perk combinations to choose from. Something like that.
If anything, at least bring back reforging in Iron Banner.
Please consider reintroducing reforging, Bungie.

1 RispondiI think you should still be able to reforge Iron Banner weapons like in Vanilla and TDB but nothing else. The ability to reforge is what made Banner worth doing at that time.
-
3 RisposteGoddamn I used to have the dirtiest rolls on my guns...
-
1 RispondiThey should bring back weapon reforging. But the only way to do it can be through using a reforge ticket, which is only a reward from the night falls. That way people have an incentive to do the night falls and it's not a totally pointless grind for tickets.

2 RisposteI miss the old days, when iron banner weapons had great perks an were the only weapons in the game that u could reforge, made ib worth the grind, but now the weapons he sells are garbage and I only play hoping for a good drop which hasn't happened since year 2 came out. So in my opinion they should go back to reforging IB weapons only
-
3 RisposteThey need to allow faction weapons to be reforged. That's it.

1 RispondiNo. I think reforging weapons is the main reason we aren't allowed to level up year 1 guns to year 2. There was an overabundance of op weapons with God rolls. I'm not complaining because if you earned the motes and spent the time then you deserve the weapon, but I am just bringing up the difficulties that this resulted in when it came to year 2 and whether or not these strong perked weapons were allowed to be leveled up. We want to be unique yet want to apply changes to guns that would result in ultimate uniformity. To each their own. Reforging wouldn't make me quit but I enjoy the luck it takes to get that gun that other people want.
-
Weapon reforming should only cost that much if it's not randomized. But they'd never do it because of pvp I couldn't give a rats ass about hoping for a good roll because that doesn't help me at all
-
Never again

1 Rispondiyes but they wont

1 RispondiModificato da sergantsnipes05: 2/1/2016 9:00:00 PMNope. Broke the crucible for one and it made getting that sweet drop not nearly as cool. Do you really wanna deal with everyone having a thousand yard stare with hidden hand, snapshot, and shortgaze or everyone having a perfectly rolled party crasher again? It makes the broken rolls the norm and not the exception I would be alright with iron banner reforging like it was in year one as it gave them added value
-
1 RispondiOnly for Iron Banner weapons, like how it was in vanilla and TDB who else agrees?
-
1 RispondiSpeaker- We have too many new guardians, how are we going to get rid of some?! Vanguard, what are your ideas?? Ikora- They should take a test to prove thier light! Speaker - Hmmm, no it seems too easy. They are already warriors of light, we just have too many.. Zavalla- They should punch stuff to see who stays!! Speaker - Nah that seems too titan friendly.. Cayde 6- Okay.. I've got it. Tell them, "you see that mountain? You can go there.."
-
4 RisposteMake all perks viable and let us choose the perks we want!
-
9 RisposteModificato da Clutch4Icecream: 2/1/2016 8:53:28 PMNo! Reforging is what broke crucible to begin with. Owning a powerful gun with extremely good rolls should be an advantage, not a slot machine tell you get what you want. This is what caused the influx of perfectly rolled shotguns everywhere. Same with launchers.
-
2 RisposteNo because the game would be broken if I had a party crasher with a dirty roll. I mean if only I didn't have to use a conspiracy theory http://youtu.be/otOUTQlKkTg
-
7 RisposteNope. I said this would ruin the game in HoW and it did. It's a bad idea. It was a bad idea. It will always be a bad idea.
-
1 RispondiI'd be down but there would have to make a limit of some kind of material that is something like glass needles to do so. I don't have one primary that I can say I love the roll on...I had a number of them I was able to go to last DLC
-
1 RispondiNot-on-your-nelly!
-
1 RispondiNo. Increase drops. More chances to get what you want. And makes game feel more rewarding.
-
5 RisposteIf reforging was brought back a couple of things should be in effect First you should have to be level 10 with the gunsmith Second it should cost alot per attempt Third the should be a chance at failure I mean you lose the item and the cost Maybe have an item that lessen this chance or the higher your gunsmith level is this chance goes down as well This means that you will have to take a risk. Which there is very little of in this game
-
1 RispondiModificato da ThisMahSwamp: 2/1/2016 8:06:58 PMYes, and make it so that you can reforge everything. By this, I mean armor. That will be the only way we can all look different/be unique in some way.
-
1 RispondiI thought weapon re forging was great when we could do it, but now I think the game is better off without it. Back when re forging was a thing, nobody had a rare 'God roll', on a weapon as anyone could pretty much get any perks they wanted. I actually prefer how it is now and how it was pre HoW.
-
3 RisposteI think you should be able to obtain perk nodes that you can apply towards a weapon via an amalgamation process. The nodes could be either bought from Xûr/gunsmith or dropped from nightfall.
-
3 Risposte
-
1 RispondiI think the gunsmith rank should determine how many times you can do it total.
-
2 RisposteYes bring back weapon reforging, rather have to hope Rng will favor a person with a lucky enough roll to drop that item with different perks on it, it gives us the opportunity to reroll the item with eventually perks on it that are more to our liking it was good thing in year 1, it saved a LOT of unnecessary farming and useless repetition.
