What I've learnt from many, many lfg raid groups

Firstly, I'm not the best raider. But I do my job, help others with theirs, and don't die. What I've learnt over the past couple of weeks and over 50 (guesstimate) different hard raid lfg groups is: * some people just aren't ready yet, regardless of light level and weapons * don't try to run warpriest with less than 3 sleeper simulant * don't try and run golgoroth with less than 3 spindles (1kys and similar with the right perks are fine) * don't try and run sisters with less than 4 ToM * if you don't get to at least the second cycle on oryx by the second run, leave * every stage is easier with at least 1 hunter and 1 titan. If you don't have these 2, you're going to have a bad time * if the same person screws up/dies/generally causes a wipe 3 times in a row, leave or boot them Yes there are exceptions, good players are good players and can cover for what they lack. Everyone has a bad day. These are just my opinions re hard raid lfg groups. Edit: for warpriest, the calls are "left" "right" and "middle". "Top" is an acceptable substitute for "left". Had someone today insist on calling top, bottom (for right), and middle. No-one understood them and they wouldn't change. Edit 2: early in the week is best for lfg, as it's mostly established small groups looking for numbers to make 6. Later in the week it's mostly randoms trying to finish, or running alts. Very hard to find titans late in the week. Edit 3: please take into account my entire post (some people aren't ready for hard mode etc). Warpriest can be easily beaten with lesser weapons, sniper only, whatever. In an lfg group made entirely of randoms, you need every advantage possible. Edit 4: thanks for everyone's input. Some called the post idiotic - I'm guessing these people run mostly in established teams or have just been luckier than me lfg. Or they ask for "315+ must have etc". Some whole heartedly (or part heartedly) agreed. At least I know I'm not alone. I was a fan of matchmaking for raids, but not anymore. Not in the current form anyway. Maybe a lobby that can hold 12 people where the lobby host can boot/select their team from?
