Really icebreaker?......
So I ran into someone using icebreaker in IB tonight...why is that thing still a 1 hit headshot? I'm no great pvper but at 309 light that should do much less...I'm pretty easy going and don't mind losing or even getting wrecked once in awhile I just found that stupid.
[i]edit- I know how light levels work as well as damage. I raised this to start the convo again because it just doesn't make sense. In normal crucible fine but in games where light level is enabled there should be more drop-off for y1 in my opinion.[/i]

Icebreaker is still beast. Biggest downfall is how it affects your current light. U can still murder with patience and time too

2 RispostePretty sure its not the weapons light that matters but rather your overall light So if you are 305 with icebreaker its gonna be doing the same damage as if you were using a year 2 sniper at 305 Not sure though thats just how i thought they are working light levels nowadays

2 RisposteI ran into a 295 using Her Benevolence and was wrecking heads with it. Can't even be mad at him about it. But I really don't understand why year 1 weapons are still that effective in Iron Banner. Clearly shows lvl advantages are not that big which is something they said would be a factor. At this point getting mad is not even worth it but for some reason lil shit like that really get's me going. They tell us yr 1 stuff wont be coming forward in light but it still proves effective in lvl based game modes. I don't get it.

Because light levels don't matter as much as ppl think they do. Not for pvp anyway.

Well that guy just really likes his ice breaker. It won't be very effective and will hurt him in a lot of ways, but if he wants to use it, he can.
