There has only been one PVE event since launch
Why is it that? Why has there only been ONE pve event in the entirety of the game since launch while there will soon to be a total of four pvp events?
PVE: The Queen's Wrath
PVP: Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, SRL, Crimson Doubles
I know I'm going to get called out for this but this is ridiculous! Please for the love of the game have at least one other pve event.
[b]EDIT[/b]: I am NOT talking about DLC. DLC =/= events. For all of you kinderguardians out there, Queen's Wrath was a year one, completely free, week long PVE event with its own bounties and event specific armor.
The wolves and blades of Crota are also not events, they were what is known as INCURSIONS.

Pvp is cheaper and easier to do that's why.

12 RisposteIf you're including these free to play events, then Festival would have been a second PvE event. Trials is a normal gamemode and for endgame purposes, similar to raids and (dare I say it) Nightfall (put the pitchforks away, ya jerks). PvE has many more activities in the "endgame" realm than the PvP side. In fact, the PvE side is much more heavily favored with regard to endgame level. Thus we have PvP events that are intermittent, but also promote endgame level play. IB, SRL, and the upcoming Doubles are really the only thing that you could consider "events" outside of the normal, everyday game. Who knows what's in store for this "largest event we've seen since the release of TTK" event come spring? I'll bet that it will be more of a PvE centered event, though.

Back when queens wrath came out many people did not have any legendary gear thus making you forever 24. It was because of queens wrath that people were able to get 2-3 pieces and do VOG. Now adays there is no reason for a pve event. There is already a plethera of different armor types and styles for pve.

Let's see....Day 1 had VoG, normal crucible TBD had crota end, normal crucible HoW PoE, Trials TTK Raid, Trials. It's pretty even if you ask me By the I included the raids simply because you included trials. You can't do trials unless you buy the DLC.

That's because pve has things like tons of quests, multiple raids, and strike playlists. As far as amount of content released they are more equal than you give it credit.

well, there are community events on every planet... all you have to do is walk up to the event to take part. defending the warsat, killing hvt's, stopping the mining crews. just saying. and you CAN invite other Guardians at any location to help take on NFs or Strikes... or seek out other players that might need assistance. it would be beneficial if there was some kind of format already in place to make this much easier to accomplish... instead of have four emotes that are ridiculous... use one directional button to turn on/off the Ghost light. another to let Guardians know you need help. another to offer help. and the fourth being whichever emote you chose to rock. I know what you are saying, and where you are going with your post. and I totally agree. the content has been long stale and reeking of fromunda cheese. pvp, when it works, is still a side attraction and does not represent the entirety of the player base. I prefer to run bounties and strikes. that said, I am still forced to play in the Crucible as some of the lines of quests will have me to.

8 Rispostethere was a time on these forums when every time IB was rolled out there were posts, rightly bring up this subject. I have no idea why this stopped being an issue when these forums are so loud & vocal about pretty much everything. Bungie seemed to have pulled off a masterstroke in quieting the noise on this topic without addressing the issue. There should be some genuine new content on the pve side as an alternative to Crucible. An extended quest line with its own story mission a strike and some unique gear & weapons as part of it. Even a poe style Challenge as the last part or something. Anything !

I'd love to see a "Reef's Wrath" (since the queen is either dead or missing) that can bring us year 2 versions of the reef gear, as well as Chasing Infinity, the Queen's Wrath ship. It's some of the coolest gear in the game.

The Queens Wrath was a stupidly fun event, I spent hours doing those missions for legendary gear. I want more PvE events too.
