I'm beyond tired of the trend of wearing dead hive parts. It's lazy, "Oh we'll just make them look like hive". As far as I'm concerned there isn't any especially good looking armour. I like iron banner gear but there isn't any awesome end game gear. Which is why I don't care to do the raid.

The weapons are not hive, but the armour has the bone structure akin to hive. As it stands Fallen armour looks the best to me

Too bad the fallen armour is completely useless, but I do like it better than any hive based armour. We're supposed to be living in a time where would could potentially discover some long lost armour prototype that looks great. Instead we're stuck with what seems to be current. It just doesn't make sense to me.

The amour has to look both good and like it would be realistic. And RPGs always tend to have ugly armour, at least in Destiny you have the option to infuse to get armour that looks better.
