The Gjallarhorn rumor
I have a close relationship with a user on Reddit (disclosed name) that has a reliable connection through someone who works/worked for Bungie or an affiliate. This person in many ways (other than directly saying) stated the mighty G-Horn will make its triumphant return around Independence Day in America. There's apparently a huge update around that time that will include a massive quest line to obtain it.
I personally don't believe it (although it would be fûcking badass), but everything my buddy has said about this game weeks/months ahead of time has been accurate.
What do you guys feel about it?

It apperently haz huge ballzz which it would be a massive questline for you to pleazz it. This is bungie logic in a 3 sentences with examples. 1. The weapon is too good and guardians are having an easy time getting through content. - NERF IT! 2. This perk reduces the severity of this weapons recoil. - Hold on a sec, let me get this straight. You purposely programmed a weapon to have "severe" recoil only to build a perk that reduces it? What the actual -blam!-??? Let's make a bunch okay perks to make the good ones seem awesome. L 3.We are going to test out a lot of different stuff and not tell anyone about it and take a whole year to start looking at the data. After another year has passed, we may or may not decide to do something. -updates included I really do enjoy this game but sometimes it's just like holy hell.

Mehhhhh I can't believe it, too far removed from the source... Plus, G-Horn was a Y1 thing :) If they're going to add a god-weapon they should make a new badass RL that can compare to G-Horn! :)

I seem to remember someone from bungie saying that eventually ALL Y1 exotics would come to Y2, so it's definitely possible.

He talked to the girl who goes to school for a biology major but wanted to change her degree to game development. This is fact. Who cares?
