Why haven't you raided?
So why haven't you raided?
If you've never raided and would like to do so please msg me. I'm on PlayStation and my psn is PHRESH_PHIL.
Seems everyone has their reason but I am willing to help as many ppl as I can. Maybe we could all join up and run it blind. That would be a lot of fun. I won't spoil it.
Also, if you're on xbox I'm PHRESH PHIL. I don't have Destiny but I do have halo if you wanna play some slayer.

3 RisposteThere is no valid excuse. I am a day one player with 10 people on my friends list and 10 of them don't play Destiny. I ALWAYS lfg, and I've completed many raids... Get your light up to 290, you can easily do it by going to Court of Oryx, Nightfall and even Heroic Strikes. Check a video out of the raid, learn mechanics and tell your group you have completed it even if you haven't. You will beat it. Raiding is the only thing that keeps me coming back. Enjoy the content.

Nice to see someone selflessly offering to help people out. Sincerely...that's a nice gesture. I've done bits and pieces of each of the three raids, but TBH the experience just didn't do it for me. I mean, they were interesting, but not something I would want to do again and again. Destiny taught me something about myself when it comes to these sorts of games: I despise repetitive content. When I left this to play ESO, I absolutely loved the fact that after 300 hours I still hadn't seen the same map twice. I don't think I'll come back for Destiny 2, or whatever it's called, for that reason. It's great for fans who dig this, but it's not for me. I know that now.

Because i got every possible drop from normal, the challenges are stupid and pointless and the hard raid is just reskinned loot with higher light level. Need i go on?

2 RisposteBecause I don't like the raid. Because it's not fun to do the same things over & over again. Because I'm tired of listening to children that talk about what [i]JUST[/i] happened to their character that we're all present to have already seen. Because I don't see the point of grinding to grind the raid so you can grind the harder raid and grind to be a highest level that will change anyways.

the raid is bland i used do 3 crotas 3 vogs 3 nightfalls 3 weekly strikes now the loot isnt worth the effort yeah a 320 would be nice but the difference between a 315 and 320 is nothing like the difference between 29 and 30. also finding randoms on the forum never end well i dont have 5 hours to do a raid i barely want to do it in 2 and all the groups i used to raid with either didnt buy ttk or dont play much anymore so i stick with too and crucible its easy to mess around and play solo

3 RisposteI don't raid cause no one wants a 301 titan. Told I'm too low and can't help even with normal mode kings fall. So I give up. No one seems to care. The community says bungie ruined the game, however, the community ruined raiding.

I can't find a team with no mics and everyone requires mics and I don't have many friends to do it with. I have been doing old raids with the 2-3 friends I do have to to do them.

But I still had a ton of fun, I miss those times. I do raids when I can, and nightfalls every week, it's just crazy to think about all that. I had fun, but now I have even more fun. I use my mic, which was something I was kinda skeptical about, but I've met a ton of cool people through Destiny. This is to all the raid virgins: Try it out! It was a lot of fun.

Because I'm not light lvl 1000 with Y50 Gjallarhorn and the chronicles of fate of all fools expansion. Also all my "friends" quit.

I've just never wanted to be that guy that held the group back, and the few times I've joined friends at the Atheon checkpoint I've never seem to be any help and just leave. Although I've never watched a VoG or any other raid guide. I do want to get them done though. I'll have a ps4 next week. My psn is the same as my user name.

Because people are assholes. I no longer care. I'll find a way to get by and get my money's worth on my own. I think it's really cool of you to try and help people though.

I'm a bit shy unless the group is laid back and has some humor. Once I'm comfortable with a group, I open on up. I can listen well and take instructions pretty good. I was turned off of raiding due to "ragers" the first couple times I got into CE. I only ran VoG a couple times because of the prior experience with CE (and one of those was a recent run to get NTTE). The VoG run for NTTE got me a couple guys that were quite laid back and obviously enjoyed having some fun. That was one of the BEST experiences I've had with randoms in this game. [/quote] Carlysle_Comfort is the name I'm on PS4. Central time I'm on from around 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. (or so). My Hunter (not wearing my best gear at the moment) can roll from about 301 to 306 depending on what guns I need to use. He is the one in need of KF to try and wrap up ToM. I would appreciate help with it. :)

Good for you, OP! Hope that you can get some guardians through. I'm on the XOne & play with a regular group of 3 others. When we try to find the last 2 for the team, I always prefer to find the new or inexperienced. We like to take our time, because it's always a practice session for us, too. It seems that the OP has a little trend going, with people both looking for help & looking to help. It may be helpful if people post their time zones-I've seen a lot of posts from first timers wanting help, but I play around 6ish eastern & if they're Pacific time, my group really can't help them much. Just a suggestion...

Lfg takes too long. I can't find a dedicated raid team. Everyone can't help my other characters out. They see my low light level and leave. Sorry but I can hold my own. But I hate when people deny your low light level. It really sucks. Been trying to get my other characters higher light but near impossible thanks to requirements. Btw I'm on PS4 and have done the raid before. Gt thegunsl1ng3r_
