3 RisposteI joined brotherhood of steel while also doing minutemen quests Minor spolier below:
did anyone go behind the institutes back. Everytime they gave me a mission i would tell the brotherhood its something ive always wanted to do in the other fallouts
-
I chose the minutemen because they seemed like they would do the most good for the Commonwealth. The BoS are just a bunch of dicks with perks. The Raidroad are good people but I don't see how they would help the Commonwealth. The Institute only care about the progress of knowledge just for the sake of progress.

5 RisposteI chose the BoS.. which made it hard when I found out..
Danse=Synth
I've done every ending but my favorite is the railroad because of how secretive they are. I really enjoyed being a spy.
-
From a moral standpoint, the railroad. I like how they accept the synths. I also love how the railroad is super secretive. Makes it a lot of fun. Oh and I love ballistic weave. I love the brotherhood for all the military equipment, but I dislike their agenda. The Minutemen seem cool because it's a flashback to the past in a way but I'm not sure. Haven't met the institute yet, but I don't really want to join them.

6 RisposteI'm getting fallout 4 soon I don't quite understand the Minutemen's cause can someone explain with out spoilers

I joined the minute men, brotherhood of steel, and the railroad. I ended up doing the minute men ending because I messed up on one of the quests, big time.
-
Railroad. I love the Brotherhood of Steel, but I just can't bring myself to fight for them this time.
-
1 RispondiSo far I've joined the Minutemen and Brotherhood of Steel :)

The thing that bothers me the most is that the factions in FO4 range from evil as fvck to morally gray. The karma system in FO3 and NV gave the player a bit more insight into how their actions affected the game world and the player character, whereas in FO4 you're just kind of doing stuff without consequence. The only indicator that you are doing something wrong is when a companion dislikes something that you do (or don't do), but there is never really an explanation of why they didn't like what you did, and you are left completely to your own devices to figure out stuff about that companion to understand why they hate you a little bit more because you did/didn't do x, y or z. You can't really do overarching good or bad things, just things that might make some people hate your guts and/or try to murder you. Not saying that I don't enjoy the exploratory portion of the game, but with some of the choices you can make it feels like there should be a little bit more in the way of explanation.

Main character with the institute, cause it seemed new and cool. Plus they want the best for humanity and seem to actually have a future. Secondary character with BOS cause big guns and mini Nukes all day!!!
