The way you're wording it sounds like you intend to deprive someone of their free will to make personal choices, which is something you stand for. If someone wants to oppose gay marriage, so be it, you can't strip them of their ability to make that decision because you don't think it's fair.

If love is love, why can't I -blam!- a cow? Is it illegal? Is not right because it's not legal? Homosexuality used to be illegal, was it right then? People used to have common sense and decency.

It isn't love. It is a state of lust for something that feels good. Homosexual relationships are false, and emotionally unstable.

It's mainly because: 1: Many "gays" are not actually gay but instead jump on the growing bandwagon of homosexuality to be treated differently. Many gays get treated specially because people don't want to offend them or make them upset because that will cause World War 5. 2: The FLAMERS. You all know what I mean. The gay people who will do everything in the physical universe to show everyone that they're gay and that they have to be accepted no matter what. The people who make out in public, the people who dress up all flashy, or the people who talk in super high pitch voices and are insanely loud. 3: Mass media shoving it down your throat (no pun intended). Everywhere you look nowadays there's something about gay marriage, or gay rights, or a pride parade. NOBODY CARES. You don't see "straight pride" or "pedo pride" do you? Then the minute a famous person says they don't like it or don't support it, the media explodes with false news bashing on them. 4: The lack of discretion of gay couples. When I was a kid, 6 I would say, I went to Disney world for a week. Unknowing to my family it was gay pride week... Everywhere we went there was always gay people making out on a bench, or humping each other, or touching each other. Families paid thousands of dollars to enjoy their weekend only to have it filled with what is easily described as an orgy. There is a time and a place to express your love for someone, and in the eyes of children is not one of them. No matter how you view gay rights, that is not right. 5: The people who scream "homophobe" or "discrimination" like its a second language. Seems today that only one opinion is right. Why should I have to conform to what you want me to believe in? I was raised being told that (x) is wrong and (y) is right. Just because I voice my opinion on gay rights and say I don't favor it doesn't mean that I'm an evil person and you have the right to rage at me. Nor do I have the right to tell you that you're wrong for supporting it. People today are way to sensitive when it comes to opinions and can never respect each other's. 6: Religion is a strong thing. Many get mad at the religious people for hating gays..... Here's an example in different terms: We all grow up learning that the sky is blue. So if a random person walked up to us and told us that the sky was red and if we didn't agree he called us a "redophobe", why should you magically change your beliefs? You grew up learning that the sky was blue, why should you all of a sudden change because someone tells you you should. My point being, if you're gay, good for you nobody really cares. You don't need to go around trying to force it on us and make us accept you. Either people will eventually accept it or others won't, that's how society works. You can't try and fix the world by screaming at someone the minute they don't agree with you. If you want to be gay and get married then do it, and if you don't like gays then don't say anything. Because love is just love isn't it? Why should I be told what I can and can't marry? I see both sides of the argument, the supporters and the non supporters. I said it in an earlier post, and I'll say it again. *ahem* My only problem with the legalization of gay marriage is that the younger ones, most likely thought that we would all be accepting of it. But the law only made it LEGAL. Nowhere in it, did it say that we must all have acceptance for their decisions... If they want to get married? Go ahead. I won't stop you, or hate you, but the second you push the idea that you should "be entitled because you're gay" then I begin to get frustrated.
