  • Wired, using a router first then went directly to modem. Still had the same issue.

  • Ok. Are you receiving any Packet Loss issues? You can find this in your Detailed Network Statistics on your console?

    I did not find any info on packet loss. I will say I talked to my service provider Thursday after trying every possible combination of fixes on my end. I was asked the normal did you reset your router, modem, console. Told them, yes. I mentioned i also tried port forwarding, and UPnP and what not combination of other fixes. The one thing they told me that i had not done was to unplug the modem then unplug and the coaxial cable as well. (She mentioned that sometimes the coaxial cable builds up static). Then plug the coaxial cable first then connect power( IN this order, she was very specific of plugging in the coaxial cable first). She did ask about if I had a compatible modem - I bought my own making sure it was on their approved list and able of high connection speeds, if the routers software was up to date which it is. I also tried connecting the ps4 directly to the modem and I was still having connection issues. So I knew at this point the issue was on the ISP side. Then she mentioned she was sending some codes or verifying something and testing the communication of their services to my modem or something I can't remember the correct words or terms she used. Also mentioned I should be getting about 60 Mbps but was only getting 29 Mbps. Tech is coming out Saturday to figure this out. After calling them I have not gotten any disconnects or error codes. Bee and Beetle error codes are gone. I have also noticed that I no longer red bar in crucible or in pve - in strikes or anything of that matter(events, taken attacks on different planets). My connection is a lot smoother. I know a lot of people don't want to fuss with their isp simply because it's tedious and they try to put the blame on your side, but mine was extremely helpful and it's worth it if it solves all the issues your having now. I hope this helps for those still having troubles. P.S. If you are still having connection issues when your connected directly to the modem as in your NAT type is 1, then it is more than likely necessary to contact your ISP. EDIT: SPELLING

  • Thanks for trying to help. It was really frustrating being kicked offline. Hope everyone else having these problems gets them resolved.
