Raid question.
I'm working on my hunter, I have light of the pack and black hole. 296 with sniper, 297 with shotgun. Without shadestep or triple jump; would this character make it through the normal raid? I'd have to be runner at Oryx, which I've never done, I know but with practice I think it'd be easy.
Thanks for the positive feedback so far. I main a warlock but have decided to cover all bases.

As a 297 you will be fine to run normal. Some of the jumps might be difficult is all. In normal there is no need to be runner - the only thing I would suggest is don't be a floater in the middle. They really need to do the most dps, take platform 1 or 2 and you'll be fine. Also try to take the aura for warpriest if you're the lowest - it isn't that hard, learn it. And take golgoroth's gaze - same reasons as warpriest. After a couple of runs you'll be a pro.

in no way do you 'have to' be anything in the raid solely due to your choice of guardian class or subclass. you'd be fine at that LL in a NM raid.

4 RisposteIf you "have to be" any specific role in the raid I would say no, you won't complete it. Not because of you but because of your team mates. A good team will have capable runners simply because of the practice you get at the sisters. 5 others and none of them can run relic? Really? You could also switch to gun slinger and use that triple jump if no one else can make the same exact jumps that they make when torn at the sisters.

1 RispondiGo on YouTube and learn the raid mechanics before going and doing it. And shade step is kinda useless unless you have gaze. But you deff need double jump for a lot of the raid. Espicaly if your going to be torn on Oryx fight.

Oh you would make it through normal mode just fine. Stick w/ the sniper in the raid instead of the shot gun, for the most part.

Triple jump just to be on the safe side or if you have Bones of Eao for a substitute, until you can unlock it. Good luck!
