Time to abandon Xbox 360 or PS3? You make the call.
Although I agree that modern consoles display better graphics and are speedier, I believe Destiny 2 should be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in addition to PS4 and Xbox One.

2 RisposteIt's time. I play on PS3 but there are so many things wrong with last gen to continue putting out content that works better on current gen. They're basically holding everything back for ~10 yr old consoles. There should at least be a little incentive to upgrade. GameStop did a deal last July to get $120(I think) trade-in value towards a current gen console.

4 RisposteHoping to land a high paying job next week, then I can be one of the cool kids instead of a dad trying to get to make ends meet. But either way, gaming on the PS3 is still enjoyable and I'm happy destiny is still within my scope of playability

If they put destiny 2 on past gen consoles I'll be passing on it. The game has so much potential that I'm sure is held back by last gen limitations.

No point. The servers will probably be shut down soon, I've seen that maybe even 2016 could have that happen. When they're down, destiny will be unplayable. Besides, it will hold the game back unless they move on.

I myself own a Xbox 360 and I do find that if [b]Destiny 2[/b] is put into first gen consoles I will be horrible for some reasons. So people are just blatantly saying "Nah stuff last gen they don't deserve destiny 2", they are right but also wrong in a sense. First off deserving isn't the first part of it. You would have to come into account with; "Will first gen consoles be able to handle destiny 2?" Or "The lag that some players get on destiny 1 who play on first gen, will lag from Destiny 2 just kill their console?". I don't think they should make Destiny 2 for first gen but they should, but hey will have to tweak so things. I myself am getting a Xbone this year myself mainly just so I don't become to far from the latest gaming and technology. I do think that it is the right time to get a Console upgrade just so you are not lagging to far away from the [b][i][u]HYPE TRAIN!![/u][/i][/b] FOR QUICK ANSWER. VVVVVVV [spoiler]Yea you probably should upgrade your console.[/spoiler]

1 RispondiSorry I know gaming is expensive but if we have to leave behind old consoles to make the game better do it. Or take some thing out like black ops 3 did. How about don't give them raids so they can make them bigger and better or don't update the old systems at all

7 RisposteWhen the 360 first came out I was pissed when they didn't release games for the first Xbox. I didn't quite grasp the technological differences between the two. Then I started building PCs (for video and sound editing, never liked gaming on PC for some reason) and I understood the tech limitations of the xbox, and why current games simply could not run on the old hardware. Sure, they could make Destiny 2 for PS3 and Xbox 360, but the outdated hardware would prevent the game from making any sort of meaningful forward progress.

1 RispondiIt would make it significantly harder to release better content in destiny 2 with old gen holding back current gen consoles. Things like larger DLC and DEDICATED servers will be nearly impossible to complete if they have to nit pick things out so last gen can process it.

I still can't afford one. I just paid 5000 out of pocket and took out a 6000 loan to pay tuition. While I might could save up for a new game, a new console is out of the question.

As much as I wanna keep playing destiny on my ps3, I agree that they move on and make Destiny 2 a next gen exclusive. We won't see any major improvements until that happens. *Sheds a tear*

Abandon the old. PS4 and Xbone will be antiquated in a year or two. That's how it works.

I asked for kicks what the pre-release sheet looked like for 360 and ps3 yesterday at GameStop. There's 1 Lego game coming out for 360. That's it. PS3 has that game and a couple japaneesy games. It's sad. They're done. If you haven't upgraded by now, you have failed no one but yourself.

5 RisposteHonestly, idk what people are talking about when they say last gen is holding them back. There are games with graphics WAY better than Destiny that are on last gen, and storage space has nothing to do with having a newer console. Still, I feel like Destiny 2 will be on PS4 and XBOX 1, more because Sony and Microsoft want people to buy new consoles and less because of technological limitations.
