WHAT IS GOING ON IN CRUCIBLE?
(and PVE)
I cannot get a match WITHOUT serious lag. Bodies are floating, I am shooting people with a low health bar, who TURN OUT TO BE DEAD ALREADY.
Other cool stuff: Got FoH'ed, but the Titan died as well. Novabomb kills the user. Oh, GG is NOT a one hit kill anymore. People tank GG shots like there is no tomorrow.
Servers are generally bad anyway, but "Christmas break" apparently means there is no maintenance etc?!

1 Rispondi[quote]I cannot get a match WITHOUT serious lag.[/quote] I've never had a consistent good connection in this game since it has always matched me with players that are not in my region, but the lag has been pretty brutal since the latest patch. The matchmaking system was clearly altered to be even more skillbased than before, and that's why the lagging has increased so much. I'm still on a full green bar almost every game, although that doesn't really mean anything since often enough you see players lagging even if their signal bar is not yellow or red, and every lobby i get into has maybe half of the players lagging on a red or yellow bar. Even if they reverted the matchmaking to what it was it's not good enough since the lag problems have always pretty bad in this game.

1 Rispondiyea they screwed up melee hit detection big time in this update as well. Half of the time shoulder charge deals absolutely no damage, same w/ regular punches... though on occassion you will launch the person you're punching in the air (but do no damage).

5 RisposteStop blaming Crucible lag on "servers". As has been discussed more times than I can count, Destiny is a Peer to Peer connection. The only time servers come into play is for matchmaking before the round and rewards afterwards. The actual match is hosted by one of the people in the lobby. The lag we are seeing is not because Bungie took a holiday and stopped doing maintenance. Either the match host has shitty internet or they are located a really long ways away from you. Seems like the recent update changed matchmaking in such a way that it is now far more likely to be matched up against people on different continents, hence the increased lag.

During trials my friend walked 10 paces then randomly died and on another occasion I blinked backwards and died once I made contact to the ground and I had FULL health and this might just be me but I feel I go flying everyone I get warlock/Titan meleed.

Just goes to show you how much they give a shit about their own game and playerbase. They know you'll but anything they put out. They know you'll still play no matter how shitty it gets. They don't want to improve the game because it's not going to make them enough money. Bungie is putting all resources into making Destiny 2 and they don't really give a shart about you anymore

First time I noticed these problems was during a strike when I had blink on, and the slightest fall damage would kill me and launch my body across the map. This was like right after the december patch too.

Please Bungie turn off skill based matchmaking. What's the point of playing someone with similar stats if the connection is going to be a laggy mess? I'll take getting beat by skill over lag any day.

Good lord, I was just on Widow's Court, control. The lag was horrendous. It was almost like you couldn't trust what you were seeing. The "kill chime" was coming in over a second or more later than it happened. And again, false echos on the map. Players dissapearing right in front of your face, and then reappearing as a corpse floating high in the air. It was just bizzare.

It's shocking (well, maybe not) that Bungie could take a laggy mess of a PVP and make it even worse.

Same happening to me, it's not my internet as I'm on the high speed fibre optic 200mb gear, but for a couple of days now Iv been seeing body's of dead guardians motionless in the air above the crucible! Some fücked up shite going on
