Is there any point where it doesn't take extra reputation to rank up?
I've been wanting to do TTK research recently to see just how quickly I could reach K'sF (HM), and be able to beat it, and my need for exotics is at an all time high. So I feel like getting strange coins from ranking up factions.
So does anyone know if there's just one point where you suddenly need no more reputation than the last rank required, in order to rank up in factions?
Side-Question: By ranking up Factions, I'm thinking of just donating supplies to just one certain faction (which I have not chosen yet). Let's say I decide to donate [i]only[/i] to Dead Orbit. What's the highest reputation-giving donation I could make, and how much reputation would it give towards my rank?

It's been 2500 rep required to level up for quite a few levels now, not sure when it started. My highest I think is 29 DO on Warlock.

8 RisposteAs far as anyone knows faction rep is unlimited. They just keep giving packages. Rank 25 with dead orbit, new monarchy and future war cult (each individually give you this) will give you a quest which will give you an exotic class item on completion that gives increased rep gain with that faction (can also be equipped with other exotic armor)
