Boycott Jan 7-10
Bungie is bribing people to log in from Jan 7-10 with a free emblem.
This would be a good time to NOT log in collectively as a community to send Bungie the message that we will not be bought and they need to get off their butts and fix their game. Remember that there is absolutely no new relevant content planned until September, sans a few minor events like the Halloween event.
Who else sees the irony here? Their numbers must be really hurting if they are trying to bribe people to log in... Perfect time to send a message if enough people can fight off the addiction for 4 days.

Edit: Thanks for all the bumps everyone! 1,300 replies in a few days, not half bad. Positive or negative replies, I don't care really. If Bungie reads the forums they've stumbled upon this post thanks to the sheer # of replies. Thanks everyone for bumping this to help draw attention to the subject!

I truly admire someone that stands for what they believe, but you are trying to boycott for a cause that is pointless and your efforts to try and "make and impact" are truly meaningless. You haven't logged in since early December of 2015. This makes your efforts to try and get people not to log in pointless. People like you are the cancer of the community, people who come here diss the game and don't even play it. See all these people here who bumped my post are people who play this game. This game is not dead is still strong, but what do you expect? It's a holiday season people are playing all the new stuff but slowly are coming back. You say this game is broken and it needs to be fix, how can bungie fix the game when the community doesn't log in and provide input. If you want to fix this game log and and play, show bungie that people are still playing this game your simple "boycott" is not gonna do anything. I do believe that bungie can fix a lot of things in this game, and as a community we need to make these issues known. Bungie does listen to us for example hammer of sol, shadow shot, the constant nerfing and buffs of guns all at the request or complaints from players. Honestly if anyone is planing to leave they should consider that after "Destiny 2" comes out. Now bungie will look at your profile and be "why would need need to listen to this person if he/she hasn't played since this date". If you truly want to make and impact, delete your profile, erase you progress and move on. But as stated earlier, I apologize for trying to oust for the statement you made.

Is this possibly the most pointless post of all time? They aren't bribing us dude. I would have logged in anyway, but now I get an emblem. Sweet! They aren't bribing you. This is a New Years/Christmas event type thing. This is like hey, log in at any time during these days and wear this emblem so that you can be apart of the destiny new year. If you think they're doing this to get players to come back to the game you're beyond wrong and misguided.
