Where the hell did all the good raiders go?!
Ok, I'll start by saying I'm no elitist. I've helped a ton of people throu their first vog crota and now kings fall.
But seriously, I spent 8 entire hours with over 30 different lfg groups and none could complete?! Wtf?!
Are there any good raiders left?

We roll LFG teams every week and half the time we get the bad groups. So we just stop looking. 2. We do the Raid beginning to end, religiously on all three of our characters, only to be rewarded with absolutely nothing. Oh hey here's some more shards or another 320 Fusion Rifle. 3. We know nothing's going to change, the same RNG is going to keep screwing us over week after week. 4. We've all hit the points where we want to be at (level wise) and don't feel the urge to grind out 5 more levels that mean little to nothing in terms of damage and damage resistance. I've gotten tired of running Hard Mode week after week, multiple times to only get a freaking 311 Bond or Mark, or not have my Harrowed Helm drop for the 6th freaking time, oh here's another pair of 311 boots, oh maybe another pair of 320 gloves from the Challenge mode. Oh not don't worry about it Bungo, THAT'S COOL! It's just gotten old, it's just like in Vanilla, certain things don't drop, and RNG keeps screwing us over. Why Raid and grind when I'm not going to get the pieces of gear I need? Insanity is defined as doing the exact same thing over and over again but expecting a different outcome. Sometimes you just have to say, enoughs enough.

I think kings fall appeals to the 1%ers that think challenge mode is too easy, that wanted gjallahorn not to go year 2, that are glad there are no solar primaries for rewards, that don't want anyone else to have matchmaking even though they wouldn't use it. That is the so called "elite" player. It's time consuming, and honestly the one time I ran kings fall it was not much fun. And I ran with a really good LFG group. We did oryx in about four wipes. I haven't had much desire to do it after. I think it's neat but I don't enjoy it. I hate the jumping stump. I'd honestly rather waTch streamers play than do it. And even that now I don't really want to watch. By contrast VOG was fun

I got bored of doing KF before i'd even had the chance to get good at doing it. Having to use LFG and the uncertainty of who you're with is too much of a headache. The MAIN PROBLEM IMO though is, the only way you can get your light up 310+ is the hard raid. And the hard raid is the only place you'd ever need your light this high. Its circular, and limited to one boring activity.

I got all the raid gear for all characters on normal and hard, all challenges, fragments etc. I'm done.

Mostly in PVP until I can get my usual raid group all on at the same time.

I'm burned out of the game entirely, can make my hunter 318 and am thinking what's the point of even continuing? Only reason I can think of hitting 320 on any character is bragging rights, now I'm getting into pc gaming and just screwing around on other games

You have hit a spell of bad luck. Last night 2nd try beat orxy hm challenge. The night before spent 1.5 hrs and could not get done.

Completed oryx challenge this week 3x in under half that time so there are plenty still left. Just had a run of bad luck.

Of Course Having No Elemental Primaries Drop In This Raid, prevented most of us veterans from getting motivated to Raid. This is the biggest reason to why I still haven't bothered wasting my time beating oryx on normal. ON NORMAL. Light Level 301, and I'm snoozing away the week on strikes or exotic engram farms via Xur. Somedays its even Crucible. Patrol on The Court Of Oryx is also fun. Yet when I think of Raiding, nothing motivates me to try. Compare That To Year 1 Raids, LOL no competition. I'll Used To Raid Year 1 Raids Weekly Just For Fun, That Was Until TTK Dropped. TTK made gear too easy to obtain. Raids used to have gear that exclusively dropped and were too damn powerful not to go grinding for. This New Raid at best drops 320 Light Gear. WHO CARES? There is no point going further than 280 light at the moment. Seriously Bungie took the one good thing about raiding and ruined it by thinking higher light level gear was the reason people played these things.

Modificato da Dooodley: 1/8/2016 12:28:29 AMThe loot is just disappointing and we all know that Bungie is going to render it moot by adding vendor gear with higher light the next time they get around to add something to the game - which on the other hand could be years from now. And the raid in itself is incredibly boring. At no point is it immersive or action packed, which I thought was the whole point of a shooter raid. It's just "go to X, shoot Y, move to Z", rinse and repeat. Even MMO raids are more interesting, because in those you actually have to perform on your class and have some clue of what you're doing. In destiny it's just a matter of not going full retard, you don't even have to be good at shooters, you just have to follow the pattern and not die.
