To those of you who think MIda Multi tool isn't OP
Lol this whole ordeal is funny as hell, it really is. So pretty much any argument I give you guys will go straight through you. It's funny, you guys can't handle your OP any map and any range nearly best all around weapon getting nerfed so hear. Ill let you go out into the wild and ill let you prove it to yourself that the multi tool is OP.
So to show you how dumb and powerful the MIDA Multi tool really is. You will need (you can test this out in the heroic strike playlist ):
A treads upon stars or any similar archetype of scout rifle
And a MIDA Multi Tool
Step #1: Compare said scout rifle to multi tool. (You will see that said scout rifle has higher impact and lower fire rate than the Multi tool.)
Step #2: Shoot said scout rifle at an enemy. (preferably a critical shot)
Step #3: Shoot Multi tool and same enemy type and lvl (preferably a critical shot)
Test analysis: MIDA multi tool not only shoots faster than treads upon stars but also does more damage. This is just broken. You can test this out in the heroic strike playlist.
Conclusion:
#1 stats are wrong on MIDA Multi Tool (This is worry some because how many other weapons have false stats).
#2 Most of the destiny community is wrong because this proves that the MIDA Multi Tool is overpowered because it has the best of 2 archetypes ( high fire rate and high impact ).
#3 get wrecked!
Some of you guys are ridiculous. Damage wise there is no difference between legendary weapons and exotics if they are in the same archetype so they are totally comparable!

AND WHY IS IT OVERUSED!?!? Yes because it's overpowered. Now your getting it.

I like Mida for maps where I will be shooting mid to long distance. I think the balance for primaries is here. I use autos for cqb maps. Mida is situation as all weapons should be.

I love when people conduct their own "scientific study" and claim there's no fault in their work. If any of what you said is true Bungie will fix it. They have the numbers and know what needs to be done as they have shown in the past.

2 RisposteLet's be honest most Y1 exotics are not meshing well with TTK in general. Last Word, Mida, Truth and etc are dominating. Those guns might of made sense when the messenger, radegats fury, felwinters, hopscotch and etc were in the weapon pool but with the current Y2 stock these old exotics are unbalancing the game. For example I want to main Boolean Gemni but the exotic perk requires 2-3 precision kills within 15 seconds for me to get a noticeable agility buff. Midas agility is buff is FREE... Just saying

What really sucks is that there needs to be a balance obviously for PVP to work properly, but at the same time this game would be a lot more fun with OP weapons in PVE. There's really no point to having exotics in PVP because when they work properly they overpower most legendaries, so it's just hey lets nerf everything and suck all the fun out of this game. I really wish they could make silly slightly OP weapons kind of like Borderlands does but that will never happen considering they can't/won't separate game modes.

I don't think it is. It's the same thing as it has been. To be honest, I didn't see any Mida's all until xur started selling it. That was when I started seeing a lot of Mida's. But before that, there were hardly any.

I beat MIDA when I'm in the favorable range band of my weapon, quite often...and I'm not good. The dang thing is strong, though, no doubt. I just think it's as OP as some of you guys are making it out to be.

Scouts have been unchanged. So the mida has always been good. Stop whining over this FOTM. I play with the jade rabbit and ill can outgun/outplay a similar skilled scout rifle player.

Insane reload speed, great RoF, extremely accurate, competitive at almost every distance of engagement, and the bonus high caliber rounds make it the most versatile weapon in the game. Whether you are taking it into a strike, crucible, or trials it will shine in every single game type. It's the most new player friendly weapon in Destiny and that's why it's overused.

How come the year 1 version wasn't OP then? The year 2 version hasn't changed. It's just that everyone has it now. And there aren't OP guns like thorn or gahlly to compete for the exotic slot. Exotics aren't all that exotic anymore.
