Bungie, post the exact detail of three of coins!!
I, like many others, am tired of grinding for strange coins, so we can grab some three of coins, just to be kicked in the face constantly with no exotics to show for it. I use 1 every 20 mins to 30 mins. Using 40 and getting 1 exotic is unacceptable. I want to know EXACTLY what you did to them, and how you recommend we use them. No, I'm not expecting an exotic every time I use a three of coins, but a 1 in 5 ratio would be better 1 in 40. I paid for your game, so I right to know the details about part of it. So, tell us.
Edit: okay, people are turning this isn't a debate about whether or not we own the game. If you payed for it, you own the game. If you bought physical or digital(if you bought digital, you own the license), you own the game (unless your account gets banned, then you no longer own the license). It nothing to do with three of coins.

I got 3 exotic engrams from about 5 3oC. No joke, 2 primaries and a chest which of course turned into a crest, and the primaries turned into a Zhalo and Hawkmoon.

I have had three drops from three 3oc used with in 20>30 mins, all at the divide earth. Also have Zero drops from 12 in a row. I guess nothing is guaranteed. What I have noticed is..Use them when you haven't versed the intended target in a while. As for PvP I don't know I suck at that!

1 RispondiI agree, I'd also like to know the details or the mechanics behind the three of coins. Especially when I can go through forty of them and not receive a single exotic (Yes that's happened and I allowed half an hour to 45 mins in between each use.) Unfortunetly I wasn't able to play at the time of the three of coins farming, then they nerfed them before I got a chance to try. So frankly, I"d love to know how exactly to use them efficiently.

Its basically the same as putting gas in the tank of a friends car if you borrow it, its not your car but they are letting you use it provided you give them something in return. What you do own is a little disc with the word destiny printed on it, if its digital well then youre sol. You have no right to any information because you dont own anything but the privilage of playing a game owned by a seoerate larger entity. They could give you the information in good faith but are under no obligation whatsoever to disclose any information to you reguarding how pieces of the product function as is their right as the IP owner.

Agreed, bungie needs to be way more transparent about the way certain things work, rather than leaving us to guess. Heres an example of how it should be: last resort- increases reload speed and accuracy by 5 when you are the last guardian standing: reload was 35, 40 when last guardian, accuaracy was 48, 53 when last guardian. We should be able to make decisions based on data, not based on best guess.

7 RisposteThe whole cooldown is b.s i do the black garden and fight the three statues that come to life. I pop one before I go in then pop one after each one is killed. I get one exotic every 3 to 5 coins using this method. Seems like the cooldown is from your last exotic dropped not since last one used.

4 RisposteI get 1-2 exotic drops every 10 used. I start with 50 and farm until they are gone. Load up your character so the exotics go into the postmaster. Then you can decrypt at light 311 and guarantee all are 310.

3 RisposteGood luck with getting any feedback of any use from Bungie, they feel we should explore to find out. What they mean is waste inordinate amounts of time trying to figure out how their RNG works, what weighting factors they use .... The behaviour varies so much between individuals and even different log on sessions ....
