Bungie completely screwed up the nightfall. It should of never been changed from year 1. Deej said they didn't like how the Xp buff made people feel forced todo the nightfall right away on reset day. For my friends and I, we didn't feel forced at all, we wanted to do it. One for the xp buff, second we loved the blue flames on our head and thirdly the possible rewards were worth it. The challenge of possibly being sent to orbit for all team members dying was a challenge worth doing. I know some people even enjoyed doing it solo because we appreciate a challenge. If SRL was allowed to give our end game gear up to 320 so should the nightfall. Bump if you think bungie should restore nightfall to year one difficultly and possible 320 rewards

2 RisposteModificato da Vexxtech: 12/31/2015 7:29:48 AMIt's not an endgame strike (the recommended light is 280) so it makes sense that currently it wont give you much except around 280 gear. I do believe they should add a "hard" variation, with light level rec on par with the Raid (290-310) that can offer better rewards for non-raiding players. Or at least have it bring back some sort of buff that makes it worth doing (2x exp earned, increased faction rep, etc.)

See I thought they changed the loot system again, as I got 3 310 Exotics (NLB, Mida and Dance Machines) for the first time since Year 1. But no. :/

Just joined a friend and I was in spawn ghost form. They killed Valus already and the game awarded me 20 strange coins with 2 motes of light. I thought I was gonna get a freebie by having a random legendary or exotic loot reward but no lol

1 RispondiI haven't bothered with Nightfall in months. I think I ran one for shits and giggles a few weeks ago and got some crappy vendor boots at 275 or something. It's nice to have the Vanguard rep back but there needs to be more incentive. I run three heroics every week for the marks alone, make Nightfall pay out 50 or something. At least then when you get crap for all three Nightfalls you can afford to buy yourself a Hung Jury or something.
