10 RisposteOp is right. Never once as my gun gotten up on its own freewill and killed anyone. It's a tool the person pulling the trigger aiming to take innocent life is the real problem. Do I believe in a little bit stricter gun control..Yea to an extent. The fact is if a criminal is going to do something violent say a school shooting they plan it. It's not a spur of the moment things. They'll get the weapons they need regardless. And in the world we live in to I believe every single law abiding citizen should have a firearm at bare minimum in their house.

Australia and UK had spikes in violence after their bans, while all developed countries continued a downward trend in violence. Wasn't until they got more police that it went right back to their downward trends. You might see less mass shootings on national news, but I promise you that you'll see the violence creep from their close nit neighborhoods and enter your home while you sleep. People will praise the decrease in gun violence and ignore the increase in homicide that is spread out over a year. Gun bans should not be based on the occasional dozen people dead, but the hundreds who have used guns to save their lives along with the millions who don't have to worry about being robbed or killed at night because of criminals who fear a potential victim owning a gun. Liberals are near sighted.

If guns were banned or taken away, the 'bad' guys could still get guns illegally and then 'good' people couldn't defend themselves.
