It really depends on the person playing as the Hunter, there can be good hunters and bad hunters... same with every class, warlocks aren't really a crutch as I have seen warlock not even die during raids unless wiping or it was someone else's fault (Someone doesn't kill their ogre and it kills them) so it's only a crutch to bad players.

Hunters are the most used class So both sides are valid Most of the skilled players might be hunters But most of the scrubs are hunters as well

Health regen is weak if you wanna have any armor.

Not all Hunters are scrubs at Destiny, but most scrubs at Destiny are Hunters.

Well, considering I build full agility with all my Hunter builds, I like to think I'm pretty good since I don't build armor or recovery.
