I see all these right-wing -blam!-s who lack the ability to think long term calling for religious tests to gain access to this country. They seem to think that because war-torn refugees are Islamic that they're all ready to strap on a bomb and shoot up a building full of people. While Islam is a shitty religion and while it does have a very high percentage of radical -blam!-s I don't think it's rational and I don't think it's fair to refuse to help people who are trying to escape a warzone because they grew up in an Islamic country. However, if we do go that direction as a country, then I purpose we have religious tests to get into office. No Christians allowed to hold office. Yeah? Only atheists can hold office. And while some of you might cry out and say that's unfair guess what.... If you're an atheist you cannot hold public office in certain states: Maryland Arkansas Mississippi North Carolina South Carolina Tennessee Texas These states all prohibit atheists from holding office. So -blam!- it. If you want to restrict us from holding office and prevent people who are running away for a warzone because they have a religion you don't like I say -blam!- you, if you are Christian you lose all your rights. Yeah. If you fail the atheist religious test you get sent to the Middle East. Seems fair enough to me. You can't have freedom from and of religion and then restrict who can come into the country based solely on religion and only restrict who has rights based on religion. Pick one or the other.
