There is always "That one guy" in the raid...
Regardless of the raid, there's always one.
1. Constant talker: Always talking over everyone in the party, makes communication nearly impossible.
2. Dies all the time: Whether it's an ogre, acolyte, or a single thrall, he ends up dead.
3. Knows everything: No matter how many times the rest of the team has done the raid, he knows more and is sure to explain what to do.
4. The blame game guy: If he dies, it's someone else's fault. Misses the platforms, someone else's fault. Or the ever constant, "It was the lag! It was the lag! excuse."
5. Always away guy: He might need to go get a drink, some food, make a phone call, or go to the bathroom. But he is gone at some point at every step on the raid.
6. Screws around guy: Running around tea bagging or punching people, dancing constantly instead of getting on a plate, getting off a plate at the last second. Anything to prolong the raid makes this guy happy.
7. Constantly laggy guy (though I admit, this is me sometimes): The result is everything from enemies not taking damage, to a 10 second delay before a plate starts up. At least have the courtesy to admit you are the problem if this is the case, and let your team try and find someone else to take your spot if your internet is having problems like that.
Try not to be any of "these guys" and the raid will go so much smoother and quicker.

"Okay, I've got the aura of the weaver, 30 seconds 'till I have to go. Where are the enemies? oh, there. shootthemshootthemshoothem they're dead. good. okay is there a knight? nope. 22 seconds. ohcrap thrall. melee melee melee okay. um. is the a knight now? yes. okay snipe. darn. snipe. knight dead. good. five seconds. ready. two, one. go! runrunrun jump over thrall. on plate." *breath* "okay, eight stacks left. Wizard? Wizard. grenade! stick succesful. shootshootshoot. wizard dead. four stacks left. KNIGHT! noscope noscope noscpoe. melee. knight dead. two stacks. one stack. ... go! run back to plate. runrunrun. oh hi friend swap out with me. back at plate. about 25 seconds 'till I get the aura. shoot the enemies!" The upside? I have no mic.

I'm just chill, if there is arguing/raging I either wait it out or break it up ( bring mic close to face). If there's death I help change up spots or help people understand.

I'd rather spend two minutes making sure everyone is on the same page for the game plan then getting 5 minutes in and having a wipe due to confusion, then do a second go and get 10 minutes in and another wipe due to a different thing people are confused about. In my experience half assing the planning process always ends in frustration.

2 Risposte#8 The Pessimist Offers to help in the raid down to knowing what to do. Is seen by their peers as knowing what to do so they get invited to what seems to be every single raid. To only get in there and assume everyone is stupid and stating "three runs and if you can't do it in that I'm leaving" That's me :D

I'm definitely number 3. I like to make sure everyone knows where they'll be and which platform is their's before starting. If no one says anything, I'll just take over and assign jobs. I will also describe exactly what we will do if we have randoms with us just to make sure they don't get screwed if we are doing something different than what they usually do. I hate when teams just start the raid without any communication then get pissed at why we didn't beat oryx in one go.

So we told him that he should wait there and the rest of us will go start the checkpoint so he could join us there. So when he reached the checkpoint he started raging that we didn't let him get the chest. We told him to get the chest you have to finish the ships part and we were constantly showing him how to do it. He then started acting like a little kid and said that if he doesn't get the chest he won't help us. So we said sure, kicked him and got in another guy and continued on. [spoiler]he must not be used to not having his way as he continued sending us messages saying we were bad people lol[/spoiler]
