Do people accept 305-310 into HM kf??
I'm a 310 hunter and I haven't done the hard mode of KF yet. I've done NM a few times and I love being the runner in the oryx/ sisters part. So do you guys think a group would take me in? Not finding a group or anything right now, just wanted to see people's opinion because all I see in LFG are requirements like 315+ or ToM/black spindle etc
EDIT: wow 90 replies in an hour. Seems like 315+ light isn't a must for HM, just some impatient people who doesn't want "noobs" in their team. Will probably attempt HM sooner or later and see how these replies fit in
EDIT: For those of you who are 305-310 light and couldn't get into any HM groups, and knows normal mode very well, you can add me. Maybe I could gather up some people to do first time HM with. Or you can add each other. I'm on ps4 btw.

I don't know about Destiny because I've never done KF HM but in other MMOs I've played, it was the norm to carry undergeared players through raids including HM. The way we saw it, if you couldn't at least carry one through you weren't that good to begin with. I used to do it all the time, you just had to play a little harder and pick up some of the slack.

As a 308, I can say yes.

My buddy made an alt just got it to 40 his light level was 284. We did the whole raid and the challenge he got some lucky drops by the end of the raid he was 315.

At that light level, you should be able to hit close to 310 with a couple of lucky drops. We were ALL 305-310 when we ran HM the first time, no reason you can't tag along with a bunch of 315+'s. However, Oryx Challenge? I tended to lean towards the 315+ groups for sheer experience. That was a bitch. BUT. Two of the three raids I completed this week used the Challenge Mode strategy to kill Oryx. Everyone should be practicing this. No knight strategy is a waste of time now. Too many variables, and with most of the community at 310 and higher, killing everything is easier now.

2 RisposteTry to get in a group to do the challenge and get some 320 get you up to 310+. The are a lot of good fireteams out there that will help you out. Of course it takes some time to find them on lfg. Also the requirements of 310+ are soft depending on how many people are wanting to raid.

2 RisposteRan oryx challenge with a 310 runner and no one I know was 310 when we first ran hard mode. Only difference I noticed was at oryx when you go from 310 to 311 the enemy level indicator goes from orange to white and they are easier to damage
