This logic is so skewed. Did it ever occur to you that Mida is used so often because most other guns have already been nerfed? This continual nerfing of guns to level the playing field needs to stop and Bungie needs to buff up more items instead.

You cannot say that MIDA is the "only primary in crucible" as a lot of people do not use the MIDA. I've seen more hawksaws than MIDAs.

Mida is Y2 now. 'People can't let go of their old guns' doesn't really apply here.

The only reason everyone uses it is because its the only gun perfectly balanced , that hasn't been -blam!-ed up by tweaks. I have amazing perks on some nice weapons but they just dont perform as they supposed to

Sorry bud but I don't see a lot of it. I don't use it bcus I don't like anything about it. nothing makes me cry nerf in the crucible except the shotgun fool-ery. The cry went out to nerf pulse rifles after hand cannons were nerfed to almost extinction.....now a scout rifle.... Maybe they should do a sticks and stones game mode for all the nerf ppl.... But someone will cry nerf on that too

People start bitching about a gun, then part-time crucible players read about it on the forums, and think that they should try using it....which leads to more bitching...which leads to even more people using it...which leads to bungie noticing too many people are using it.... STOP COMPLAINING!! Bungie does't need your help

They never say that kd is higher with Mida though. Dumb people are being punished for using it. Why should I have it nerfed just because others us either to little success. I have definitely seen far more tlw than Mida.

In regular crucible it's a good mix of guns now. It is certainly a lot less than thorn in its heyday. Mida is not OP. I switched back to a pulse rifle for a game and pulse still melts people much fast than Mida. I don't like to spew hate but stop this crap now. Edit 1: Check out these stats. For trials it is ranked 5th, with a 4% usage. Thorn and the last word each had 20% back in HOW meta. For control, Mida didn't even showed up in the rankings. I find this funny. MIDA is being extremely used not because its super powerful, but that all other guns just really suck. Hand cannons are in a weird place, with constant nerfs to their 2 saving graces (hawkmoon and TLW). Auto rifles just suck. Pulse rifles are still pretty good, but lack top teir options. Their "data" shows popularity amongst the weapons, but does not and will not show the reasoning....that they don't pay attention to the weapons at the BOTTOM of the barrel. Quit focusing on the 1-2 weapons at the top and crushing the whole class of weapon just because of that one outlier, and start focusing on the weapons that SEVERELY under perform. In all honesty, what WOULD they nerf on MIDA...the movement speed? It only becomes really good when you devote your class to movement and becomes god-like when your armor load out follows suit. That's a conscious choice to improve a strength to your advantage (I.e. NOT a Thorn situation). Only other thing they would possibly nerf is scout rifles as a whole....but why? Other than MIDA, the scout class of gun isn't in the Vanilla Auto situation where they all kill everything. They get outgunned very easily in ranges outside their own optimal range they are SUPPOSED to be used at, they have no god teir standouts like other classes have in the past unless your WHOLE character is changed to work with your weapon, and they still take a considerable amount of skill to use effectively. So why...why would MIDA need a nerf when the problem is that everything else in the game could use a buff.
