Noooooooo Bungie Staaaaaahp!!!!! Instead of nerfing a balanced gun just because people like to use it how about actually balancing everything else so that people "have more options" you -blam!-ing idiots. "Oh people like using one of the few balanced guns, i have an idea, lets unbalance it" whoever was the one that brought that up in the meeting needs to be fired. They said themselves it looks good on paper... BECAUSE ITS NOT OP. Its just enjoyable to use. So why is it that you are even considering making it less enjoyable? Its not that players "dont have options" its that they've found a VIABLE yet not super overpowered weapon. LEAVE IT ALONE.

It is just decent as is, with needing 4 HS to kill it is just ok. it's only good because of the third eye and agility perks. Can't be caught w/ an ugly weapon lol. Seriously though, nerf it. I say reduce the magazine count by 1. This way my ocd is under control and anyone complaining about arguably the best balanced (not op, balanced) can't say Bungie didn't nerf it. lol Not once during year 1 did I hear anyone complain about it. Why? Cause those complaining now were the majority of the Thorn and Last Word users. -_- Also the only ppl that are salty at Mida users are those that user snipers as primaries.

I've rarely ran in to the MIDA in crucible, and there's no nerf needed just because a lot of people are using it. Multiple guns are capable of out DPSing and out performing the MIDA. Quit crying.

3 RisposteThat is terrible logic and I hope Bungie never acts on it. Nerfing something that isn't OP because it's "overused" is insane. First, because several actually OP weapons were overused and still didn't get nerfed for months (thorn meta anyone? Fellwinters' sniper? Final round spear?). Second, because it means Bungie could *never* come close to actually balancing the game, because treating perception and overuse problems with real nerfs means taking balanced guns and making them underpowered. Third, it's insulting and micromanaging to players as a policy. That's bad for the metagame and is very patronizing on Bungie's part - saying they don't care what we want to play with, even if it's fair, if too many of us like something at the same time it causes whining and whining will be treated as legitimate even if it's caused by ignorance and volume rather than legitimate issues of balance. Lastly, it's stupid bad business. Bungie's customers love a particular part of the Destiny product (MIDA say) so much and in such huge numbers that others begin to believe it is / must be overpowered, so the MIDA lovers must be punished? Doesn't that drive down game value and fun for the lovers of that gun - which the premise of the rationale for Nerfing assumes lots of people are using? Sounds like a recipe for even more alienated customers. Ultimately, 1000 yard stare and MIDA have perception problems vis a vis the community, and there are lots of ways to address that without Nerfing balanced weapons based on "overuse".

1 RispondiMIDA was overused in the first week of its debut in Y2. Now, all I see are TLW/1KYS and TLW/Conspiracy Theory in Crucible. All weapons should just be left alone and people should just get good and play the game.

1 RispondiI've been using the Monte Carlo for the past week or so, and that thing has been consistently performing well. I even beat MIDA users most of the time if I don't get caught at long range (in which case I bail the -blam!- out of there). Try changing your play style up a bit. If you're losing to MIDA constantly it's because you're trying to beat it at its game. That's....not gonna work.

Mida is not all i see in crucible and it certainly is not the only gun that will make you succeed in crucible, but of course they sell it via xûr now, a few days before next ib, so their statistics will obviously "justify" a very unneeded nerf to the weapon. It was always a great gun it's just back in yr 1 even hand cannons were like scout rifles. Sucks that it will be getting nerfed but I think people are only using because people keep bragging about it and are just discovering how great it is. Maybe they should intoduce challenges from Lord shax in crucible like "This match don't use a single exotic. Lets see how great you are gaurdian." - and doing so will give you more reputation/rewards idk.

1 RispondiLolololol, so bungie has a podcast about mida multitool overuse, then has xur sell it the week before the next iron banner, which will cause a false spike in its overuse and probably lead it to being nerfed for all the wrong reasons. Bungie does not understand cause and effect. All they do is look at statistics instead of evaluating whats causing the statistic. So stupid
