First off, I would like to clarify this comes from a person who uses a Sniper Rifle on a regular basis. I have noticed recently that the sniper rifle has recently become a major driving force in the Crucible and Trials of Osiris... majorly. The thing is that Trials has become a game of "who can get the most headshots from the other side of the map". There are only two ways of fixing this... either: 1. Reduce/Abolish the Aim Assist of all Snipers so that getting a headshot requires skill rather than a sticky reticle. 2. Make it so that Special Ammo is lost when you die. This will mean that snipers will have to rely on skill and can't spam sniper shots. However this would mean the rise of the Invective and Ice Breaker. So to counter these, double the time which it takes to obtain additional ammunition from their perks which grants ammunition. This will also discourage the players who think a shotgun is their primary weapon. I'll probably get a load of hate but the majority of the community will feel the same way.
