why isn't anyone worried about the threats of servers going down?
Soo no one is worried about the threats on the internet of lizard squad and phantom squad taking down PSN,XBOX LIVE,AND STEAM… They did it last year… I hate Sony and Microsoft for not getting ready for this -.-

Probably because the same threats happen every year, and have for... well, at least half a decade if not an entire one. The holidays are also when lots of people get new games so servers crash just by people naturally being on. In which case silly group like those like to take credit regardless. And those things aside... why worry about it? Not like we can do anything. It isn't worth my time nor energy to be venting my outrage at some random asshats just trying to upset people.

10 RisposteHow might you suggest preparing for this, server overlord? Protip: you can't. It takes a ton of DDoS protection to protect against large attacks, and even then nothing is guaranteed. If they could simply protect their servers, they would have done it by now. Please don't act like you know anything about the subject.

They only do this cause they're attention whores. Am I worried about the servers? Yes, but not so much. Besides I could always call over my friends and play some classic Killzone multiplayer on my ps2.

Last year it happened, and even then I was back online by the end of Christmas day. Didn't effect me too much. And it'd give me time to catch up on other games, so hell, it'd most likely be seen as a positive. Unless xur is gonna sell something awesome.
