why isn't anyone worried about the threats of servers going down?
Soo no one is worried about the threats on the internet of lizard squad and phantom squad taking down PSN,XBOX LIVE,AND STEAM… They did it last year… I hate Sony and Microsoft for not getting ready for this -.-

Don't really care if it gets taken down for a day or two. I will be too busy playing with my kids Christmas presents to notice anyways. Also would not be disappointed in Microsoft or Sony for doing nothing about it at all. The people that work for them deserve the day off to be with family or friends just as much as everyone else does.

Don't really give a shit, steam going down won't stop me from playing games anyway and xbox live can smd they're down most of the time anyway.

Considering most of us will be doing holiday related stuff, it's just not high on the list of things to worry about.

Spend time with family, there's other stuff to do, yeah it sucks if they go down but it's hardly the end of the world

No point worrying. If it goes down, it goes down. There isn't much Microsoft and Sony can do about it. Not sure what Lizard Squad are planning, but Phantom Squad are doing DDOS attacks, and DDOS attacks are virtually impossible to stop.

Well i'm not mad because DDOS attacks are notoriously hard to protect against. I probably won't be playing on or around christmas because i typically pay attention to my family on the holidays. And i play on XBONE and last I checked they havn't had millions of credit card numbers stolen (yet) so the servers going down for a day or two doesn't much concern me. Video games are not my life, so i think i'll get over it.

1 RispondiMay I ask how you know that the said companies haven't prepared in any way for it? I mean, yes Lizard Squad took it all down last year. But those companies have a lot more money, resources and probably better equipment then these "hackers". Couldn't they just hire some team of super nerds to negate the attack in some way? Although, if it does happen again this year. I will be on the bad end of the stick too.

Although Microsoft and Sony don't lose any money from the servers going down so I don't think they will ever do anything about it.
