How many day one destiny players have quit?
Day one or even year one players ONLY!

I stopped after i baught taken king because they all my hard work for gear was worthless and my friends stopped playing

i quit shortly after taken king because bungie took all the gear i gathered in year one made all the old content wortless and started giving back some of the same guns thru stupid ass hard strikes why did they let us upgrade all the old guns with the light from POE in the first place they had to have known TTK was going to make the guns crap and they were going to take it all away case in point the black hammer/black spindle strangers rifle/no time to explain this game is now all about PVP. if they want me back they will have to give me back all my year 1 gear at year 2 stats and make all year 1 content up to date with year 2 they wont do that so later bungie

I was in beta, and I loved what the game might have become. I stayed until halfway through SRL. Then I just… stopped.

Beta player. I enjoyed it for awhile, then since there wasn't anything else I was interested in, I kept playing. I burnt myself out on it so much, just can't stand it now.

3 RisposteDay one of alpha, day 1 of beta and day one of release but I quit in February and never even launched the game again since. Lots of reasons but the one that made me more angry than anything else is their nerf whatever is most used policy that they continued over and over. Get used to or good at using one type of weapon and then they screw you over every time. I'll never buy or play another destiny game again. I'm back over to warframe and every update it gets better and better.

I play here and there but not long, 30 minutes the most. And it's not everyday either unlike year 1. My problem is that the weapons are boring now. Yes supposedly Bungie got rid of elemental primaries so we don't stick to certain weapons which adds variety. But that came with a huge con for me. Since there's nothing strong about any of the weapons there's no variety. All that does is have me collect stuff that I more than likely won't use. They all do the same thing which makes it boring. There's no awesome loot waiting at the end. It's just max light level at the end and even then there's no feeling of being strong. All of year 1 has been left behind except with some exceptions to the some of the exotics. The game is challenging and yes challenges are good but why do they always have to be a challenge?

Day 1 player here and founder of a few clans; one of which has over 1000 members. I got flawless Raider with 2 level 29s. There rest of us were level 30. I quit around February. Came back in August and played through HoW and beat Crota on hard. Pre-ordered TTK but I still haven't played it even once. I check this site every now and then and check out datto and moreconsole on youtube but nothing is pulling me back in. Things only seem to be getting worse with this game and the community. So much for a 10 year plan. Hopefully Destiny 2 will be better.
