Allot of people here on the forum say that the Sunbreaker subclass is totally ruined by the recent nerf. I main a Titan and I still think the Sunbreaker is much better than striker and defender in PvP. The HoS is still a beast, when hearing that clank noise people still run the hell out of there, now you just need a bit more precision to get kills with it. Do you think its still good or no?
-
Yes complete garbage now.
-
I have noticed that hammers are sometimes inconsistent with damage Like a direct hit doesn't kill for some reason but other than that its not as easy to play as it was but its still really strong in the right hands
-
It takes skill now to successfully wreck.
-
1 RispondiI have several videos of people taking 2 hammers to kill with or without there super it takes 101 damage most of the time isnt that what all you hunters were crying about you couldnt 1 shot a sunbreaker well hope your happy we can barely 1 shot anything anymore i play as all 3 and never had an issue taking on a sunbreaker who cares if you die he is in his SUPER you are meant to! I never whine and carry on ive been playing since the beta and noobs are wrecking this game

Balanced, not ruined.

Modificato da Onion Reaper: 12/18/2015 8:14:36 AMIt's still usable in pvp like a bad gg with armour I guess but in pve you're better off punching everything to death than using HoS. Sunbreaker is now one of those classes I'll only play in pve if I have a elemental ability kills bounty. Thank you bungie, please continue to nerf shit in pve because it is op in pvp, everyone appreciates it.

It's fine but the tracking for the hammers is pretty much worthless
-
Sunbros for life dawg. PERRIGRINE GREAVES are the sexiest exotic ever. I'd love to see them also do bonus damage for suncharge (my personal fave of the tree) at least for pve. I don't even care if it takes half of my super energy, but holy sweet RNGesus, to do a flying fire knee and one shot a major collussus would be legendary. About the nerf, lemme preface this by saying that even though my K/d is hovering around 0.79, I do have over 1300 hours logged and am a day 1 player. Plus I'm getting better everyday. Anyways, I think a lot of the nerf was cool. I've had hammers track cats around corners pre-nerf. And I've shot gunned plenty of stormcallers mid super 1-on-1 (that chain effect is sweet, but makes it way tough to handle), so I get the armor nerf. But that damn area of explosion feels tiny compared to the forgiveness of other supers. I love suncharge (I once double tapped it to go under and behind a voidwalker mid novabomb) and I don't wanna be forced to choose forgemmaster to make my super feel like more than a glorified throwing knife (disclaimer: more like glorified bruteshot ;)). (Surcharge>bladedancer) And explosive pyer is way cool (plus I feel like shax disapproves of flameseeker) (Obviously with the godliness of PERRIGRINE GREAVES I don't have the option for both). Tbh I'd like the aoe a little bigger (ONLY A LITTLE) and forgemaster only be throwing more hammers (before that large aoe plus forgemaster was op). I'm gonna also start by doing my part and buying a 100 foot ethernet cable and wire my xbone up. A couple of things about the other classes, if cauterize was so bad why is hungering blade allowed ? And I think the duration of stormtrance is too long. You shouldn't be able to double back around memento and kill the whole opposing team twice like I've seen (though I did it once with my sunbro pre-Nerf) or make it from the exit at zone A all the way to chilling in the opponents spawn zone at point C on dungeons racking up kills.

It's not an unstoppable force anymore. It's balanced, not useless.
-
I quit using t after TK. Space magic ftw
-
1 RispondiNah its more balanced now
-
Idk, I never got into that one.
-
I always main my striker but sometimes switch to hammers I think they are still good
-
Hell no, it's just better now and there's now just more for Titans to whine about
-
I thought it was okay when I tried it again but you know how this community is.
-
Never really enjoyed hammer in PVP. Went back to striker.
-
2 RisposteIt's garbage in PvE now. Can't even take out a shielded centurion with a hammer... regardless of its level
-
-
3 RisposteSee, your problem is when you said PvP. In PvE, it isn't that great anymore, and seems to be more hindrance than benefit. Screw PvP, do whatever you what with that load of bull, but stop touching PvE.
-
1 RispondiI ate a hammer in mayhem today. The guy was probably pissed.
-
ITs right where it should be. As the long range titan. Striker is short, Defender is support. Hammer of Sol is not suuuuper threatening, but equally as threatening as an Arc blade, Storm trance, Radiance, and such. Unless you're speced out for Max armor, expect to still get one hit. Two if you're fast enough (hammers aren't as accurate or big a radius effect anymore)
-
While I disagree with the sunbreaker > striker, I do agree that they feel more balanced than they used to. If I were to make any changes I'd switch out some perks that affect super for something passive that helps the class overall, but otherwise I'm good with the changes. Side note: no I don't main a Titan but I've been doing most of my pvp in the last month on my Titan.
-
No, it's still pretty good.
-
It's still gud
-
It's still so good just requires SOME skill. Come on people, it was a crutch before.
