I haven't logged into Destiny for a decent amount of time. I haven't finished the King's Fall raid yet due to my demanding work schedule. The day before my day off I decided to see if I could get five of my friends to finally help me out. On Saturday everything was set to go. I came home from work and fired up my PS4 Sunday morning. Four of the friends were there waiting. The fifth never showed. I begged my friends to invite one of their friends. They didn't have anyone online who was playing. So I didn't get to raid. I ejected the disk from my system and retired it to it's case. There it remains collecting dust. I have never really been able to raid since I bought the game. I used to play the Nightfall Strike every week. But now most of the rewards for the Nightfall Strike are items that help you with raid drops. A raid I can't seem to get five other people together to complete. I asked for Sparrow racing when the Alpha was running. Now I can't even bring myself to try it because I have completely lost intrest in the game. I was told that I would never have to set foot in The Crucible when I bought the game. Now many of my quests are left unfinished because I have no time or intrest in The Crucible. I'm ok at it and even ground out a suit of Iron Banner armor and a decent collection of Iron Banner weapons including the infamous Felwinters Lie. However I really hate multiplayer experiences due to the cheating involved and I didn't buy Destiny for The Crucible. I do really appreciate the fact that The Taken King's storyline was intresting and a great step in the right direction in regards to player vs. enemy. But the host of items I collected from year one just sit in the vault. Every weapon that was awesome for player vs. enemy got nerfed into the ground or under the ground because of player vs. player. I can't get a raid group together to finish it for the first time let alone try it on Heroic because there isn't any matchmaking. Playing the Nightfall Strike is useless and I am forced to play The Crucible to get quests done. A game mode I could really care less for due to rampant cheating and lack of time. I'm not quitting yet but Sparrow racing isn't enough to get me to play at this point. Alien_Number_Six Playing since Alpha
