If you want a balanced shooter, go play CoD.
Thorn was simply an annoying weapon. It was not overpowered.
There were weapons (like the Stranger's Rifle) that killed even faster...but that no one complained about.
The absence of Thorn robs PvE players of a very valuable weapon. Especially in these current days of there not being any elemental primary weapons. Thorn was a very good weapon at stripping shields and keeping them from regenerating.

What are you smoking? Because I would love to have some if you figure cod is better... There hasnt been a decent call of duty since modern warfare 2 and original bo. Even WAW is better than this excuse for black ops 3. They basically chained three games together and call it the new call of duty.

Better is in the eye of the Beholder. As a Titanfall player I've had the experience of playing a well-balanced shooter. Destiny isn't one...and is going about it the wrong way trying to become (as close to) one (as it can be).

I know as far as what you can do overall Destiny is way better... There is more to games than just PVP

I prefer Destiny's PvP to CoD or Battlefield.... ...and I like it as much as Titanfall (though I like Destiny---the entire game----better). My point was one of balance vs. unbalanced. Is see the Crucible as being more of a on-line battle arena more so than an online shooter.

I agree with you with the exception of battlefield... In battlefield, there was no worries of getting no scope, quick scope or sniped within 10 meters.

And in the coming DLC vs Cabal empire... Thorn pierces Phalanx Shields. We might want that one back.
