This is to see is people really enjoy sparrow racing because of it's appeal or do people just want rewards
-
A little bit. Having only two maps gets old.
-
1 RispondiNot with only 2 maps. Its fun but I don't see how they thought 2 maps was ok for the whole srl run.
-
Yes. Maybe 2 or 3 races a night. Not grind it out.
-
Would still play. Probably not as much though.
-
In any game, if I am not rewarded for my effort, then I will not play it.
-
Not with only two freaking maps and the way people would rather bump than race normal
-
Hell no. I hate racers to begin with with a bloody passion. I didn't even like Mario kart. I have enough trouble now getting a few in to try to progress but can't keep interested in more than 2 or 3 races.
-
absolutely. no lag. no game-in-progress joins. fireteam friendly. and its fun as hell. Whether or not it should have have been in the game "since the beginning" (a subject which seems to be fairly controversial on these forums since a lot of posts are about how stupid it is and doesnt belong in a FPS/MMO-whatever-type game) doesnt matter. Is it fun to play? Yep. Do the rewards really change much besides an easier, less-grindy method of infusion fuel farming? not really.
-
///no but that's kind of the whole game. It's a random reward based grind. I love it but that's just the reality.
-
Every time I start a race up and hear the announcer it puts me instant rage mode. I'm a pretty calm person as well. Something about that voice... Grrrr!!!
-
I dont even play them with rewards lmao. Why the hell would i come back to play a feature that should have been in the game since day one?
-
I shall emphasize my vote with a hellz naw
-
4 RisposteIt is the first opportunity that players have had to gain Crucible rep without firing a shot in anger since the Mats for Rep deal went away. That is huge and people who normally hate PvP should take advantage while they can.
-
1 RispondiYes. But only if it had more tracks. But honestly this question is stacked against racing. Answer this. Would any of us who have put in some time play any of it (Destiny in general) without rewards??? I would say not most.
-
I don't even play it now....I know it's a neat edition that was begged for in Y1, but I never asked for it.
-
Absolutely not. It was boring after the 4th or 5th race.
-
Not as often. I mean, half my time on this game is spent on patrol. I just choose a random planet and go shoot shit. No rewards there either lol.
-
1 RispondiThis game is like using the slot machines. Just waiting for that drop.
-
1 RispondiJust look at how many people do NF now compared to year 1. I answered no....would I run it, ya once or twice but not like I would when I can get 320 gear, hoping next go around they'll put other class items up for grabs like Chest or legs maybe. I run it now and then sit at the finish and let everyone else finish ahead of me so they can rank up and get their 320 gear as well, actually seem to get better rewards not comeing in first anyway.
-
It is fun, but only 2 tracks make it's longevity suffer a bit
-
3 RisposteI don't play much pvp. I also am not a fan of the gimmick that is srl. But... I am still going to play it, even if it didn't have rewards. Why? Because I still have done zero work on getting last word kills for the chaperon, and the srl is an easy way to get that step done. So yeah, that's the only reason I even touch that turd that is srl. I can see the wires of the levitating act.
-
If the raid would have no rewards, would yo....oh wait, it has no real rewards! But still, your question is just stupid! Or would you play any game mode/game type or game in general that don't offer any rewards?
-
Yes, but alot less. Its fun and the rewards make it that i spend alot of time in it.
-
It has rewards and I still don't play it. Man they could have done something really cool with their resources like a cabal base assault expansion, but we get wipeout 2015 instead.
-
Of course not. I wouldnt raid or do strikes if they had no rewards either.
-
It was fun and a challenge at first to get the S class licence but, no, I would have probably given up at that stage if it weren't for the 300+ gear that drops with higher ranks. Now, like everything else in Destiny, it's just a "grind".
