I really do not understand the reasoning behind shortening the time of Symbiote. If it was by itself and there was no other super to compare it to, like Hammer of Sol, I could see the change being warranted. GG is a really good super and having that amount of time was considered a little OP by a few hunters, but not since Hammer of Sol.
1x Golden gun can one shot most things. So can 1x Hammer of Sol.
With the Exotic Symbiote, you get one extra shot (edit: total of 4). Without any exotic, Titans can throw 6 or 7 hammers.
Golden Gun has slightly more usable range, while Hammer of Sol can track.
Both supers can have splash damage.
Only Hammer of Sol can heal.
Only Hammer of Sol has a solid general health buff upon activation.
I don't see how that seems equal or balanced in relevance to each other. To me it seems HoS is easily the most utilitarian super compared to GG, but would honestly like to have a discussion about it.

Hammer if Sol can't 1 hit warlocks with ram golden gun can. Hammer of Sol has travel time so its easy to dodge. That's why titans have 7 hammers.

From when is your data regarding the Ram from? They nerfed the Ram prior to year two, and it was just re-released at the kiosk in the last update so that is why I'm curious. It would be cool if that was the case. Still, Id hardly call a 3 to 7 ratio fair, even at your listed standards it includes one extra hammer, tracks and heals.

The tracking is about as good as a blue rocket launcher with tracking, it's awful.

It certainly isn't as good as it was... what was it like a 25% decrease recently? I always had fairly good tracking results with it, more than a GG shot anyway.

GG has insane bullet magnetism making it hard to miss unless you're retarded. And more often than not the trackingnpn the Hammer screwed me more.

Interesting. I've had different results, usually always getting my kills using the hammer. C'est la vie.

I played on my brother's warlock and with ram + chest armor upgrade you can tank a hammer.

Since its been out since this Tuesday? I'll have to check that out. Could of been wearing solar defense armor also. That would be brilliant if it's true. Either way, its still more than a two to one ratio with far more perks, but cool discussion.

Yup, but personally for me I prefer gg bacause it has no travel time and it is way more accurate.

Yea me too... really like the Hunter in general but I like playing all three classes. Admittedly the Titan is my least played class, I think hes around 312 LL or something, but I do enjoy them all.
