Why is it that as soon as you guys heard that there was a glitch on getting a $10 item in-game you guys did a patch the next day? But when there was game breaking glitch like quiver and heavy ammo glitch back in Croats end it took you forever? Is it cause you guys are money hungry greedy SOB's?? So Deej and Cozmo quit replying to useless posts and starts replying to the ones that matter.

7 RisposteYou're an idiot. They're community managers. They have nothing to do with what goes on in-game nor do they have anything to do with patching bugs, nerfing/buffing, etc.. So please, be a little more intelligent next time you post.
-
You kids need to stop complaining about everything you ever think that somethings are easier to fix then others
-
Modificato da Sleepyhollow: 12/10/2015 10:32:55 PMBecause taking the items without paying from the book counts as stealing and makes bungie lose profits and makes people who bought the book waste their money.
-
Modificato da Svea_Forzum: 12/10/2015 10:24:42 PMLocking a thing is much easier than fixing a thing. If you recall, Bungie locked quiver from players, until they fixed it. It takes time, mess up one code and you mess up a shit ton of others, (This update is a good example of that)

hi chevin!

You hit the nail on the head with GREED These guys do give 2 shits about the important glitches and game breaking crap. And good luck with getting them to answer you
-
2 RisposteModificato da S0ulPancakeS: 12/10/2015 9:43:36 PMThat logic is on point, what's not on point is how everyone jumps in to defend bungie on both making an expensive "wonder e-book" and how everyone that did the glitch is an all out thief.

7 RisposteTo OP Why are you so stupid?

Those "useless" posts are often the only ones without an incredibly toxic attitude on the forums. If they responded to every "i hate this" post not only would they never have time to talk to the nice ppl who aren't here to rage, they wouldn't have anything to say half the time because they're community managers not devs. They're only here to monitor & try to get ppl to maintain a shred of decency on these forums which isn't common around posts like this.

3 RisposteWhy is this to deej? You know has has no control over what patches are in development, right? All he does is communicate what Bungie is doing to us. That's it.
-
6 RisposteThis is terrible can't go a day without a complaint
-
People who took advantage of the exploit were technically stealing. The exploit made their paying customers angry. Bungie was quick to stop thievery, like any self respecting business should do. Remember kids, the gaming industry is a business. First and foremost. It has been that way since the very beginning.
-
It's because while a glitch that causes something to be OP won't really earn you any favours with your boss, a glitch that practically looses money for your company would get you downright FIRED.
-
4 RisposteLets start off with Why is there a $10 book in the game that does very little in game and will be useless after the srl season? Not only that, I can go buy an actual book for less than $10. To think it's worth that much is insane
-
4 RisposteModificato da Savage: 12/10/2015 9:44:59 PMConsider this...the book glitch was probably a few lines of screwed up code that wouldn't have any impact on anything else in the game. When you have, as you say, a "game-breaking" glitch, Bungie has to first investigate the majorly screwed up code, figure out how to fix it in a way that won't mess up anything else, and then play test it to make sure it doesn't -blam!- anything up. You throw in a quick half ass patch on the heavy ammo glitch and it causes glitches to where people are getting double heavy or no heavy or whatever. It takes time to investigate game-breaking glitches because there is game-breaking code that has to be rewritten and fixed without -blam!-ing anything else up along the way.
-
Book glitch you had people who spent money on a product who would have demanded refunds if because they paid and others didn't. Ammo glitch made Crota easier, everyone could do it. No one paid for something that was available to everyone. Same with the quiver glitch. If they didn't fix it someone would have sued, it was smart of them to fix it this soon.
-
12 RisposteNot sure if you bought a book or not (I didn't), but imagine that you had bought a book on Tuesday. $10 bucks spent on some cool Destiny stuff. Then, you see that people are getting it for free from some exploit. I bet you would feel like you got ripped off. You might even be able to get a lawsuit going on how you were ripped off. This hot fix protected their company from a lawsuit and from pissing off people who actually paid for the book. They can't screw around when people actually spend their actual money on stuff. Heavy ammo and quiver didn't have anything to do with people getting ripped off.

Did all of you just ignore that they fixed the exotic engram decryption bug or am I hallucinating and seeing patch notes that don't exist?
-
1 RispondiModificato da TheWayHeWept316: 12/10/2015 9:29:57 PMIn this instance, you are wrong. They can't have people buying 10 dollar exclusive items and have those same items dropping for free at the same time. That's a lot of refunds! It completely negatively affects the integrity of their company. A ammo glitch or a super cheese is a gameplay issue that involves everyone. It doesn't screw some people and benefit others after they just paid for it. If I sold a bagel to you but let the guy behind you take it for free, you'd be pissed right? But if all the bagels tasted like shit, that is a different issue. It affects everyone. And at some point I'd change the -blam!-ing recipe or else nobody would buy my bagels. Get it OP? Get it Bungie?

You people are like the black lives matter group that say all cops are murderers and enjoy killing people and do it on purpose.

3 RisposteModificato da Ryan: 12/10/2015 9:21:29 PMThey don't reply to this kind of stuff but I saw a post seen replied to about "I just soloed a dreg AMA"

Pretty much

9 RisposteMaybe because change actual issues in game play can cause loads of unforeseen bugs. Go back and read what they had to go through to fix the heavy ammo loss issue during The Dark Below. Then you would understand.
