Here's The Problem With The MIDA Hype
Everyone is expecting the MIDA to be the new Go-To PvP weapon.
Everyone expects it to be Overpowered, or perform better than most.
However.... It won't.
Here's the interesting thing about the MIDA.
I have been desiring it since Day One and using it since Xûr sold it the Second time.
I have over 22000 kills with this gun.
I almost never again played with another Primary in PvE since I bought it, even during Elemental Burn Nightfalls.
And because of that, I tell you:
[b]The MIDA isn't overpowered, simply because it's the most well-rounded and balanced Exotic in the game.
Both Lore-Wise and in actual Gameplay, the MIDA is a perfectly balanced weapon, and rightfully feels like so.[/b]
The Impact and RoF can be found in pretty much any other Scout Rifle.
The Range is rather okay.
The Stability is tolerable.
The Reload speed is fast.
The Exotic Perk is simple, direct and yet powerful.
There is quite literally [b]Nothing[/b] outstanding about this gun, and that's why it is outstanding.
It's balance is unmatched, and thus, the Player Skill is the deciding factor on wether it will be a Beast or a Dunce.
So before someone calls for a Nerf, know this:
If you got killed by it, there are two reasons:
[b]A) You messed up and deserved it.
B) Your opponent was very skilled and surpassed you.[/b]

Don't know what the whining is about. It's not a one shot killer. Got it again and used it for a bit. Yep, still the same. Went back to using Last Extremity. Mida is my first exotic and least used. And I normally use a scout. Well over 100K kills with a scout and it isn't my first choice unless jumping and running is involved. Other than that I have plenty more that I like better.

Bottom line... All you whiners out there... Just deal with it and stop asking for nerfs this and nerf that. Look where it took us now. Handcannons are still semi useless... Pulse rifles are nerfed to hell... I blame you whiners for dragging my 310 red death down... From 34 to 30 Auto rifles are crappy... I used to nail ppl in pvp with hardlight.... Now i believe mida will be next... Sigh...

Scout rifles <3 I eventually want to get all the exotic scouts (except Tlaloc). So far I only have The Jade Rabbit but damn I love that gun.

I have no idea how mida got so much hype. It was decent back then and decent now. These maps aren't really scout rifle maps. It's not some amazing game breaking gun than every person will use. Plus if you're playing against people with a brain, you have to run side arm or shotty unless you want to be worthless in up close gunfights.

Mida used to be my favorite back in the days because of that speed, but now Telesto have my 2 favorite perks on it: "battle runner" and "lightweight" not as fast as mida but certainly way more fun [b]for me[/b]

MIDA used to be super fun for the Iron Banner 10 melee bounty. You could get that one done in short order when spec'd for max agility.

And since everyone is using it now, Bumgie (that's right, I misspelt it) might nerf it. Think back to the disaster of the Great AR Nerf of Y1. They nerfed all of the AR's because they were used too often

The bullet curve is just driving me crazy, though. And then when I use it, the aim assist screws me up. Lol. I wish I could just turn it off. I sat there testing it out, and no matter what I did, I could not get the bullets I fired to spawn where they should on the delta of the scope xD It's a perfectly fair weapon in terms of perks. I am just sitting here trying to figure out how people use this much aim assist and don't have issues with it, haha. Should I just be trying to miss?
