silver buyers are the reason why theres no more dlc
because you will throw your money at the screen and dont even demand proper content for the money, now they see they dont even have to try to get your money
well done , although you are just victims by a greedy business scheme you are still responsible for the outcome by voting (wrong) with your wallets
i for myself can no longer support such business practices with a clear conscience and i hope at least some of you realize this soon

Do you know how business works? You have to have money to make content. If you want to produce the content but do not want to charge as much for it (due to the TTK outrage) you introduce a way to make some money so that future DLC can be cheaper, by allowing players to buy content that is purely cosmetic. This is known as a micro-transaction, and since it is entirely optional and does not give players any advantage for buying it, it is perfectly fine. Basically, the people who buy tons of Silver to get the emotes are paying for future DLC so we don't have to pay as much for it.

Why would a company like Bungie work on a free DLC paid for by silver purchases or a paid DLC for that matter,when they can give us content like the SRL and make even more money off more silver purchases. Less time and energy goes into these events then DLC content yet they make more money for their efforts.

1 RispondiModificato da THUNDERCHILD: 12/11/2015 8:18:04 PMyou're welcome. the unspoken quarterly subscription model was trash. i hated 90 percent of what i was paying for but bought it anyway just to keep playing crucible. with optional silver they still get their development money, but i get to choose exactly what i want. this way, instead of holding the game as i play it hostage for ransom, they have to earn my money by creating stuff i actually want to buy.

6 RisposteWorld of warcraft. One of the most popular games of all time. 150 euros a year plus the cost of a 50 euro expansion every 2 or so years. That makes up for 175 euros a year and still a very very successful game today and been so for 10 years. Shut up and get a better job. The companies need to get money cause it's getting more and more costly to make games. I haven't bought anything in destiny yet but sure would if something interesting popped up.

Bungie said that they'd do their best to make free dlc with the money they'd make with the purchase of Silver, but Activision came out to say that they're perfectly fine with paid dlc. So these free events, brought to you by the people who buy silver, is Bungie's way around it. Please check your facts next time...
