4 RisposteLudwig's Holy Greatsword is possibly the best PvE weapon in game
-
1 RispondiRise from the grave Never give up
-
3 RisposteThink of Bloodborne as a dance. Start slow then kick that bitch in the nuts and take it's loot
-
You better hurry because it's only 20 bucks at gamestop right now for a short time.

13 RisposteI just beat Bloodborne last night actually! Very fun. I would say... don't be afraid to spend your insight on summons and all. I ended the game with over 70 insight. And that's without using a single item to give me insight, which I had maybe 100 insight worths of.

1 RispondiRemember that guns are basically shields. Fire right as the enemy swings at you to stagger them for a special attack (r1 when close)

4 RisposteLearn to time your dodges well. My biggest mistakes tend to happen when I panic-dodge and then get stuck in a combo. If you've ever played a souls game before, this one handles a lot differently. It is the same basic button presses, but the combat is far more fast paced and frantic and you do not have a shield. The second boss I fought murdered the hell out of me until I learned this fact lol. Realize that you WILL die many times. Especially when you first start the game. Once you get down the mechanics and learn the areas, death comes more infrequently. The first area and first couple bosses are pretty much the proving grounds. It makes or breaks a lot of people. Just stick with it, this is a great game once you understand what you're doing. Your gun is how you parry. Shoot an enemy right when they attack and it will stun them. A noise will play and they will be stuck in a stun animation for a few seconds. Quickly run up and press R1 to do a visceral attack which does a ton of damage. There are quite a few weapons, especially now that the DLC has dropped, so experiment and find the perfect match for yourself. All the weapons are balanced well so even the starting weapons are totally viable to take to the end. Do not be ashamed of calling for help on tough bosses. Jolly cooperation is a major part of the game :). Explore everything. The map of Bloodborne is very intricate. There are tons of hidden details and shortcuts all over the place for those with the desire to find them. Read through item descriptions. The story is not told in a normal sense. You are given a basic understanding, but you have arrived in a city that has gone mad, and there are few sane enough to deliver exposition. The item descriptions give you a look into the lore and history of the city, some of its people, and even some of the bosses themselves. If you want, you can even look up some lore videos on YouTube or read about it online.

12 RisposteA good decision on your starter weapon goes a long way. I beat the entire game with my starter weapon.

1 RispondiIf you feel the game is too hard just keep playing, you will gradually get better and be so thankful you stuck it through.

1 RispondiDodge...... A lot

2 RisposteOn the dlc after you fight Ludwig, does anyone know how you can use the elevator? When I go up to it it just says "there is a hole in the skull" and can't use the elevator. Any help would be appreciated

3 RisposteGo for a stamina/hp build if you're new. Work on specialized builds in later playthroughs. Seriously, when I worked on a strong stamina/hp build with my trusty saw cleaver, I wrecked, and this is coming from a guy whose first Souls game was Bloodborne. I even took down Gasgoine on my first try, no companions or music box.

7 RisposteLudwigs holy blade is a good weapon for a first time playthrough.

3 Risposte
Just remember the five Ds of Bloodborne! Duck Dip Dive Dodge Dodge
Add me people!

If you or anyone else wants to coop then go ahead and add me! Had to restart so only level 55ish right now. Psn is devildogggg2894
-
19 RisposteYou can also start getting magic maybe a quarter to halfway through the game. My first build was a strength and arcane build and was lots of fun. Had to restart but I'm doing the same thing.
-
10 RisposteDon't spend 40 minutes trying to kill the first enemy because you didn't know you were supposed to do something after you died... Yeah... I really should pay attention in tutorials

Modificato da Pheint3d: 12/9/2015 9:52:02 AMAnyone else think of this old game while Playing bloodborne? Chakan looks like he could be an old hunter in bloodborne. Chakan was one of my favorite old games. Anyways, hows bloodborne going for you? I'm new to the game as well, it's such an awesome game. I feel like the damn mini bosses are way harder than the real boss fights.
