How about you guys fix all the issues in the game before staring to introduce new lame ways of retaining players.
For those that say the game is perfect and ask what I am referring to:
1. Fixing lag in PvP (get dedicated servers) - and banning poor connections is not a solution - it's a band aid.
2. Updating Raid Rewards so that playing VoG or CE is actually rewarding again.
3. Putting more strikes back into the Heroic rotation.
4. Fixing PoE to make its rewards relevant again so that people are motivated to play it.
5. Holding up to your commitment you made that you want to keep our weapons and armor relevant and allow us to carrying them on through the DLCs instead of making them obsolete every DLC.
6. Don't make it so easy for casuals to simply obtain the same armor and weapons as those of us who have put a lot of time into this game. Enough with catering to the "me too" generation and whiners.
7. Nightfall rewards STILL suck and are not worth the effort. Kick to orbit was a part of the challenge and you've taken that away too.
8. Raid drop are horribly inconsistent. I've been in raids were some guys are lucky to even get ghost shell - and even then, they get a horrible roll. Who wants to Raid for 45-60 minutes and get jackshite in the end?
Shall I continue?
[EDIT: You fanboys down voting this post, how can you even argue those points? If you're going to down vote, then have the courage to explain why and counter my arguments instead of being a blind sheep]
[EDIT #2: Thanks to those of you who responded both thoughtfully and articulately. It's been a breathe of fresh air on these forums. It's getting difficult to respond to so many people at this point, so I'm going to sit back and read from here on in. I hope others will follow your lead and have a real discussion without insults or immaturity like we have.]

Modificato da Nils, Tender of Radiolaria: 12/6/2015 2:04:14 PMEvery single point you made is extremely valid. I have been saying your number 3 and 4 talking points for 2 months now and oh look here is the sparrow racing league that some one asked about 9 months ago. So much paid content that us vets paid for is completely useless to us and its horrible. I stopped playing destiny about 1 month and 1 week ago because it felt that I was just spinning my wheels. Granted I have never put over 1400 hours into a game before so that's the only plus. I loved destiny and Bungie really needs to do fix its issues to bring back vets instead of doing something different and that has NOTHING to do with the Desiny lore.

I’ll completely agree with most of you points (sorry can’t get on board with #6) and of course there is even more fine-tuning needed in the main game to make it better as well. I’m fairly confidant that in the future Bungie will address many of these problems. I’m very excited about a new activity to do in Destiny! For me the game has gotten a little stale, and I’m super pumped that there now will be a new way to acquire brand-new gear, other than grinding the same old battles that I’ve been doing for more than a year. If people want to race, let them race, it’s been something that a large part of the community has been asking for since day one. I’m a huge fan of Wipeout, and now that we will have a similarly race type set in the Destiny universe couldn’t make me happier! If you don’t like racing, you still have the choice to keep on blasting aliens in the face. Destiny has, and should continue making diverse experiences that everyone can enjoy. Keep up the great work Bungie!

I agree with you. Concerning number 6 I think that if rng had tweaks like they said it would (look at your gear and figure what you need/don't have) it would give the hardcore players the best stuff faster but it wouldn't leave the casuals out of it. I play a few hours every day or two and would consider myself a casual. I don't have a group to play raids or PoE. I've never even faced Skolas. But I put in time and effort frequently. I haven't even had the time to pick up my Titan since TTK dropped. (Probably because I have never abandoned a quest and almost exclusively run solo.) I've had a fireteam for one mission (Fear's Embrace and that was only with one of the 2 characters I've done it with. The other I did solo.) So because I haven't had a group I'm locked out of endgame gear? Nah.

Nightfall is bad luck I had a streak of six weeks getting useful exotics so I like nightfall it's just a bunch of unlucky whiners
-
Most people I know have got nothing but 290 vendor legendarys.
-
And that depends on light level not anything else, notice the only people with 310 rewards are the 300 and above people. It is purely that and the people at 290 are the ones thinking they deserve some year 10 gjallahorn or something like that, when they get things at their level
-
Im a 310 at my max not running ToM but I still get that stuff. Havent got an exotic since the taken king

Modificato da Edgy Fruit: 12/6/2015 2:25:25 PMWho do you play with, that effects it if it's lower levels the average loot reward level is lower Edit: and ps, it looks like you don't play destiny according to your account
-
Idk why it does that im on xbox and I have 25 days into my warlock and we are all 310+ I run it with the same guys

Plus get icebreaker back https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/178043251/0/0

Well said! Destiny is a decent game, but it still has flaws which ought to be addressed before adding more content.
-
they wont fix what they already made money on. Tess will be selling sleds for this BS. thats where the focus is
-
Every single one of those points I agree with
-
While I do agree with your entire post, I must say they dead on with sparrow racing. We been asking for this day one. Well I know I have.
-
I think the dedicated servers is a bit much lol. But I do agree with a lot of these points. ESPECIALLY THE RAID LOOT my god I raided with all three characters this week and didn't even get a damn primary. The moldering shards were underwhelming to say the least (I'm sure that's an opinion everyone has) . The sparrow racing is a neat idea and it's going to be refreshing but I hope this doesn't cause Bungie to think this will pull players back in and refurbish Destiny to its prime. Returning old exotics and armor is a really good idea. And they made it so dudes like me who didn't play Y1 have to actually discover the exotic before we can purchase (I'm looking at you Bad JuJu) just keep your heads up homies, game devs can only play blind for so long.
-
Since my post died down there, this is the closest I can find to it. Bump
-
For #3 how about bring the old strikes into both of the strike playlists instead of just heroic.
-
-
Nicely said!!
-
All you do is complain? That's probably why you are getting so much flak. Be grateful for some free content instead of bashing them. They could not do shit to this game considering a lot of games don't even have 3 significant dlcs.
-
Significant is a strong word
-
Not really a strong word, I'm just using it as another word for "different" as in "3 different DLCs". However you may feel about them is irrelevant. They are still significant because they added content to the game and you paid for em.

Bump. Bungie is unveiling 18 new pieces of gear tuesday! Oh wait, but 16 1/2 of them are year 1 items. Noticeably half assed. I am pretty sure when Sparrow races were first brought up last year the community said no. Who exactly is this Dipshit Live Team listening to? Should have gone the ship battle route, your veteran fans would have been proud of you. Infinite Descent is just a lazy ass spin on the common racing games created in the original Halo Forge. You're noticeably half-assed Bungie, and it's starting to show a lot more.
